MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Ive found so far that this guy can put in serious work against anything not white or blue.
Matches against Golgari and Jund turned into trying to get Cordial Vampire out of the hand with IoK
They really dont want to have to blow removal on it, since it just turns everybody else bigger already.
I use red glass beads as +1 counters, so whenever Indulgent aristocrat or Cordial gets there death trigger I like to think they are exploding into a bunch of blood filled wine glasses. Anyway...
He seems to eventually be stronger than some lords in certain cases. Since he will continue to grow the team after vamps get picked off and/or get stalled out. Last game I had a 12/12 vapire lacerator, was funny to see a Goyf cower in fear.
Ive been going back and forth with 2-3 of him and gifted aetherborn. As of now I run 3 Cordial, 2 gifted. The one thing I will say is that gifted is totally fine on his own, but Cordial on his own is just a 1/1. However with a team cordial is a killer. Combat math with cordial and indulgent on the field gets very complex for the opponent, and its hard not to get advantage.
I think 4 is overkill but let me know if anyone has other results. Also playing around with Aether vial, in response to removal getting counters for the team sounds fun.
The name makes me think of a vampire petting a bat and doting on it with baby talk. "Who's a good widdle bwoodsucker? Yes, you are!"

Actually, it is possible to edit forum titles. You click the Tools button, then select "Edit Thread" and you'll be able to change the topic title. It only works if you're the topic creator, however. A mod should also be able to do it.
