If we're going to have cards laying out the evolution of a single character like this, I would have liked to see them linked mechanically...
Couldn't teenage Chandra have an ultimate that tutors grown-up Chandra and puts her in play, or some such?
They ARE mechanically linked, they make an Elemental tribal theme together. Why would you want a parasitic ability for the ultimate?
Dude, a cool red superfreinds decks would be awesome in Oathbreaker with the 3CMC one and volt charge. Lol, the TURN you can it, you can flashback it with her ability and pump all your walkers.
Plus, she's cute. Is it weird to be attracted to a card? I'm sure the answer is yes but then... here we are. I'm also stoned sooooo

I'm bummed that the mythic rare is an emotionless mass of fire. In contrast, the uncommon and rare are full of life. It's a shame that the same artist wasn't given the chance to complete the cycle.
So mythic Chandra is really good, right? The ability to put an actual clock on the opponent has to be incredibly good. Even getting a couple of activations puts at least a ten turn clock. I know that doesn't sound like much, but an eventuality like that for control has to be good.

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

She might get banned in standard if there's a deck that breaks her, not being able to interact with a source of damage every turn is crazy.
The emblems stack and remain after she dies. No way to interact with them makes her a strong win condition even at 6 mana.

Standard might be a bit different, but in Modern, at least, the Emblem isn't that great. If I can cast this on T6 and they can't end the game, they they were going to lose anyway or it's a control mirror.
Over all telling your opponent they are going to take 1 damage per turn is not a huge threat. If you can keep her for 3 Emblems though... That's when I thin k this starts to really push the limits. 2 is okay, but you should still have plenty of time if you're actually the aggressor.
I would think at 6 mana, if her emblem is a danger to you, you're probably going to die anyway. Right?
It's possible to get her out on turn 3 in Modern and Oathbreaker, without issue. So unless your opponent is running blue and is keeping mana open to counter, she'll get off at least one activation, likely more. Once your opponent has the emblem, all you need to do is play defensively/stalling, which is not hard to do either.

remember the first line: she can't be countered.
So your opponent should be using counters for activated abilities if they want to dodge the emblem.

Good point. Then your opponent is FUBAR'ed on turn 3. A turn 3 Desperate Ritual into Seething Song into Chandra. Activate Emblem to start the clock, and play cards that slow down your opponent (such as with walls, annoying enchantments/artifacts, and lots of creature removal), and you're golden.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Seething Song is not Modern legal. I would look to Planebound Accomplice for silliness. Throw in a nice Cloudstone Curio for sustainability in a superfriends like list.
Even a T3 Chandra is still not killing you by the time most other decks are. I really don't see the issue when other lists are sporting very fast and difficult to interact with wins. Other lists are playing an 8/8 trample on T2, but instead of making sense they're milling you. Other lists literally have that many resources and that same deck has been seen putting 100 power into play on T3. This emblem is a joke by comparison. Tired of Hogaak comparisons? How about free 4/4s? Multiple 3/2 flying haste for free? T1 Blood Moon? T4 Lattice Lock? T3 Liberated? It goes on and on, but they print something that isn't free, isn't graveyard, and isn't linear and people gush about how it's too strong and you have to be able to interact with it.
All that said, I'm still a control player, I'm still going to be killing people with these emblems. Why? Because if control can manage getting to a safe board state by T6, then they deserve to win and you don't deserve an out- that's the advantage gained for going slow. Not to mention it probably takes a good 4 turns to win anyway; realize that many decks could start the turn you play her and win faster.

Ah, I missed that it was Banned in Modern. That said, it is still relatively easy to get out, particularly if your deck is built to stall. That said I don't think it will be in issue in Standard or Modern. In Oathbreaker however, it might.
It won't really be an issue in my preferred format of commander though, mostly due to the higher starting life total, but it will possibly see some decklists that play red.

Or just play another one. I see that people don't consider that fact that even if the first one doesn't stick, you can run multiple copies in the deck and all those emblems are fatally cumulative. Is not like is the first time people run multiple copies of a six-cmc PW in Standard.
Loving them all. I'll definitely play 3cmc and 6cmc ones.
And yes, Inferno's +2 is good, but what makes her great is the whole package. Uncounterable inevitable loss against control, board control vs aggro, kills anything and it's not going back (well, unless it's Kefnet). Pair her up with tons of burn including a Banefire or two and she will carry games.
Yeah big Chandra looks just as good as dreadhorde general.
Can't be countered is a huge deal in control mirrors, both the -3 and -X ability makes so it's very difficult to kill her via combat and the +2 is inevitability that won't interact with sweepers and other tokens. She can also take out enemy walkers, something other walkers can't and it's a huge plus.
Yeah, she can't be countered and the emblems stack. In standard she can come down in turn 4 in an aggressive gruul deck and start making emblems and chipping at the life total. Death will come shortly in a couple of turns.
You won't have to wait to win with the emblems, just a couple of turns is enough. It's damage that can't be interacted with, and having it as a plus activation is nuts.

Combined that her first activation of her +2 brings her to 8 loyalty means she is going to be annoying to bring down with combat damage, possibly giving you more life in the process and buying you enough time that the emblem might do all the work needed. Combined with what is close to Slagstorm as a minus to protect you from aggro means she is going to put in some work, to say the least.
