They're adding a lot of value to this set. These are definitely nice to see even if they may not see as much play in Standard with the shocks around.
I'll admit I was hoping for an uncommon enemy version of the Miragefetches or wedges of the Shardspanoramas but these will do.

these aren't adding value, not one breaks $3 NOW, I doubt any break a dollar after this.
I am trying to think of a less exciting cycle of rare lands, there aren't many. I was hoping for the rest of the Horizon lands or Zendikar fetches, but even failing one of the home run cycles, they could have done a lot better than this

Lands like this... value is driven by standard demand. Land time Epiphany and Malady were in standard, they peaked over $10 each - Malady even hit over $10 while in a standard with Overgrown Tomb (Epiphany didn't peak until after Steam Vents rotated). Of course their value plummeted once they were only competing for land slots in Modern and Eternal formats. But their value will go back up (some) now that they'll be wanted for standard builds. Doubt they'll break $10 again. But they'll move up, rather than down, from their present price.
They aren't super exciting, but they are about as exciting as most of the other land cycles really, Battle lands, Cycling Duals, Depletion lands, manaless filters (Mossfire Valley) Pain lands, Tribal duals, the shadows of innistrad ones (Port Town).
My only real problem is that they haven't finished the cycle yet.
How do you know they are not letting someone else spoil the other 5? We still have what 3 days worth of spoilers?
If the other five were being reprinted as well there would have to be a space in the numbering for them. Since these five are grouped together, Temple of Malice and Temple of Plenty are both out, meaning the five allied ones are not going to appear here

Because set numbering. Cards are numbered in a predictable alphabetical order (that's what the "Number Crunch" thread is about). If, say, Temple of Malice was in this set, it would be alphabetically between Temple of Malady and Temple of Mystery. But those are numbered 254 and 255. There is no space for a land to exist alphabetically between them.
starting at an arbitrary point after Khans of Tarkir, there seem to be a fair number of allied duals that enter untapped or have upsides, and enemy duals that enter tapped or have downsides. Shocks aside, of course.
At the risk of sounding a bit tinfoil-hat-y, could this be an intentional design choice for a new format?

Counter question- Are you allergic to facts and logic?
We know because WotC has stated multiple times that they don’t put full cycles of rare lands in sets so each big set has chase mana bases. The one time they did it in 10th edition, which had +100 card to todays big sets, is an exception.
They could....I don’t know....maybe....******* complete cycles they haven’t finished yet like the showlands or the rest of the allied canopy cycle.
This right here. I dislike that we are basically always going to be behind with enemy duals because they do allies first (usually) and then, they get an opportunity to complete a cycle and then go with a completely different cycle.
I want the enemy tango lands specifically and maybe those would be more powerful than they want (though, without fetches, I am not sure). The show lands seem like a good enough cycle they could have completed as they don't seem *too* overpowered since we are losing the check lands soon. Though, with the shocks, maybe they thought they were too good? I am not sure.

This is a ridiculous way to look at it. I'm surprised we're getting any rare land cycle at all given they're already put guaranteed value at rare with the leylines. Thinking they'd put fetches or horizon lands in a standard set... good joke lol. Doubt fetches ever see standard again.
Anyway comparing the price of a card that sees almost no play anywhere outside of commander to when it is suddenly needed for standard is unfair. If temples were already $20 then sure they'd drop but starting so low will see increases not decreases. Look at the pain lands from Magic 2015/origins. Before reprints the older 10th edition ones were half the price and when they got reprinted in standard the price doubled.
Not to mention fall rotation knocks out the checklands and we're losing things like llanowar elves, opt, shock, firebrand, lavarunner, all the white 1 drops. Basically no one is playing 1 drops so a turn 1 tapped scry land is perfectly fine.
I just really dislike dual colored lands that enter tapped by themselves. It's not a point of being spoiled with standard lands almost always entering untapped; I don't play standard. As others mentioned, there are others they can print that can enter untapped that they haven't done yet.
This doesn't excite me for the rest of this set nor will it drive sales.
What?
They printed all five enemy colors. Are you expecting them to do all 10? Because there's not much precedent for that.
Are you saying there is a precedent for a half-ass job?
People want complete cycles. That has been the case since WOTC printed the original fetchlands back in the Khan's block. They originally said they'd support 10-dual colored cycles, and then went back on it that same year. Not only are these lands un-exciting, but the least they can do is print the whole cycle at the same time. It's just annoying for players and collectors at this point.
I guess these are fine, but I wish they would take more opportunity to finish some land cycles that are allied only right now. EDH always appreciates cheap alternatives.

Always going to be behind on enemy duals? Like with the Canopy lands where they... printed the enemy colors... first?
Okay, there are a couple cycles that have allied and not enemy. My god.
Of course, it's obviously that they will continue to usually do allies first (except that's not a deliberate design decision) and whenever they get an opportunity to complete a cycle they won't (exceptwhentheydo).

The tango lands without fetchlands might just be worse than these temples in standard. I don't know what you're complaining about. We'll see the enemy tango lands eventually.

Now, I know this doesn't mean anything now, with it being 2019, but he had changed his statements soon afterwards before the release of Dragons of Tarkir, saying that all 10 color pairs would be simply supported, rather than completing said cycles. This upset a great many deal of players and collectors whom wanted the cycles completed for their decks and collections at the time. Many, including myself are still annoyed that WOTC continues to not listen to their player base and support all 10 colored pairs with complete cycles, and for whatever their reasons or excuses, continue to half-ass and leave out many other cycles that still need completion and/or representation.
Least exciting? We have shocklands and checklands in standard right now, what could they reprint, orignal duals?
No, they couldnt do fetches.
These were really cool and good in standard. Complaining about these is kinda ridiculous.
