Why in the spells based deck we have a creature based commander?
Though I get its good to stop from everyone hating on you but it just feels like such a waste of the tricolor legendary slot.
Could be cool for a group hug based deck tho... If you have a way of making sure the person who can attack you never receives the benefits.
i think you are looking at it the wrong way, it's not creature based. the spells decks will be a valid threat, and a Jeskai deck not preconstructed will often have a large target on it, so instead of having to hold off threats from everyone, you choose the direction that your spells protect you from. it's a really clever defensive spell so you can ignore most of the creatures until you stabilize

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
I think the bigger question is why isn't the first walls legend Bant or 5c? I feel like walls are much more a green thing than red.
But the first Commander for Walls WAS Bant. Yes he wasn't a Wall himself but still, it would feel redundant to have two Legends that have the same niche in the exact same color combination.
Anyhows, I like Commanders that create these weird subgames, therefore I love Pramikon. I probably won't love the decks people make with Pramikon, but still a homerun in my book. As for Wall of Stolen Identity, it's, uh... interesting? I mean, it's mono-U removal in somewhat, and it's one of the best cards for Arcades decks, and I can appreciate a few random one-off cards in these Commander decks if they have a clear purpose, but still... what even...?

I mean, yeah Arcades is great and I think a valid argument for not having a legendary Bant wall but there's something about a dragon leading a wall deck that feels a little inelegant.

Have you ever played a spell or pillowfort based deck in EDH? people get real suspicious of a blue player not playing creatures and they target you in a hurry. This comes down and funnels aggression in a way you can manage. It's playing on a long tradition of Jeskai using politics, pillowfort strategies and protection mechanics to draw out games. This makes total sense in a spells deck. Gum up the ground, limit your opponent's ability to attack you while you build up resources.
As for me, I've been looking at building a Jeskai pillowfort deck for some time. I could see this leading that deck but I'm not sure it's better than Kykar, Wind's Fury. Need to see more.

The legendary wall is what the Eldrazi should have been like. Just straight up abstract weirdness. This is the kinda of thing that makes Chandra go ‘Is that a giant floating upside down fire pyramid? Im gonna set it on fire.... Wait can i set fire to fire?

Yeah it takes a bit of looking at to realize it’s a wall viewed from a corner.
Well the legendary wall will not make tribal wall work with new walls but at least the walls with big butt are in those colors. In multiplayer it is good when you sit next to a spell slinger commander, nice commander for a spells or control deck.
What would be a good wincon for the legendary wall?
Let's say you choose right
Hug the person next right to you until he kills all the others?
(That reminded me of the time I got a Hanna deck borrowed and managed to control remote the Rakdos Player into kiling the others via Mindslaver recursion)

It’s just a legendary Mystic Barrier.
Anyway, I like it, it's just the right kind of WEIRD. I assume this will be a foil? Will hopefully look gorgeous.
Yeah I’m trying to figure out how to make my opponents pay for it.
Curse of Opulence or Spell Swindle. The new Dockside Extortionist kind of does it too.
