In the video he talks about using it with Chancellor of the Spires. Make a copy of chancellor, cast a spell out of an opponents yard, populate, rinse, wash, repeat, infinite chancellors and cast triggers and whatever spell you want.
Is this really necessary on every card you create a thread for?
Well isn’t this broken?
Kiki-Jiki, Mirror Breaker any creature then just cast one Weasley spell and you can make clone among clones
No, that isn’t broken, because how does “any creature” make this work? Besides just creating an additional token...
C’mon man, you can’t go and edit your original post like that. So, clearly I was onto something.
He is right though. In magical Christmas land, you get this enchantment out with a Kiki-Jiki, make a copy of, idk, Windborn Muse. If you can cast another spell that turn, you get to populate and can get another PERMANENT copy of your token. So it enables some shenanigans that I'm sure someone with the right mindset can turn into a very advantageous position.
In the right setup, it's like having a Helm of the Host that triggers on spell cast and not pre combat, so multiple tokens a turn are possible.
And as someone mentioned above this card is bonkers with any creature that lets you cast a spell off of it such as Chancellor of the Spires, as long as you make a token copy of that cteature.
And as a side note, before we get all the naysayers that point out that "X" combo is faster more reliable and cheaper to cast, win games dur hur hur, I once put together a 5 color mess that I successfully used Eradicate and stripped an opponent's library of most of their creatures, after which they preceded to scoop. Still though, one of my better achievements, and a testament to making anything work.

This is powerful in some decks, like the guy on the face of this, mediocre in most token decks, and a combo piece in a few w/r/x decks. Probably best in a Bant deck because of screaching chimera and copy spells and whatnot.
One spell, one token, unless you jump through hoops. With bigger tokens, such as the Angels from Sigil of the Empty Throne, this might be okay, but still, a lot of work for not much reward.
It's too expensive to be used in normal token decks :/. A token doubling effect will be better most time and is cheaper. In some combos maybe.
Right, because in a green Commander deck, you're totally not running some ramp to get this out early, and you totally won't still have lots of spells to cast afterward. Not to mention token doublers don't create tokens with every spell you cast.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Again, how is any of that broken????
Kind of missing the point here guys.
Anyways, I’d rather run the cheaper token doublers and spells that actually create tokens. Considering this requires tokens to be any good at all. It’s cool and splashy, for sure, but hardly something broken.
Exactly. In addition token doublers work great with populate. This not, not at all.
I am not saying it is bad. Just that it needs another kind of deck or be cheaper. I feel like the effect is worse than a doubling token effect most of the time.
Your not gonna convince us it’s not broken no matter how hard you try
I see this mistake all the time your judging all because of the mana cost this is commander 6 cmc is nothing and to make the mistake worse it’s in a deck with green the color of ramp there are beyond countless ways to get it out way sooner than you guys expect
It’s my opinion and I don’t care what you say or how much you convince me I think this is a amazing card that could easily be a game ender

I’m not trying to convince you of anything(even though I’ve clearly done something, editing original post and all). My point was simply that it’s not broken. Because it’s not. It’s a poor term to use, and you have used it on basically every card you’ve brought us. You haven’t even played with the damn cards yet, but somehow, it’s already broken. Dial back the hyperbole a bit.
convince us
And this really bothers me. Who else are you speaking for?
Kykar doesn't need it, but this card might be a cheap alternative to Anointed Procession should people have trouble with its price.
Still no excuse for WotC not reprinting Anointed Procession over a functional reprint that's almost twice the CMC.

It's a great card for a populate deck, but far from broken imo.
Cmc 6 is much more achievable in this format than in others, but it's certainly not trivial. Also, you need to have a worthwhile target and another spell you can play immediately for this to not be a full turn of doing nothing. If you can keep it on the board for a bit, it will generate a lot of value, but it will probably be a priority target for the rest of the table, so good luck with that.
Also, I don't see a deck that is focussed on creating big tokens and multiplying them regularly 'storming off', creating a ton of tokens with this.
Is this really necessary on every card you create a thread for?
He has to be the first person to make all of these threads and give his opinion because he needs to feel important
So far he's made 22 preview threads this week, even for underwhelming reprints that wouldn't normally generate discussion or have a thread devoted to them
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

Yeah man, F*** new cards. Make everybody play the same thing.
Actually, this isn’t even a functional reprint, because they don’t do the same thing except create tokens.
