The card looks fine, lack luster abilities but is cheap to play and has only plus abilities. Could see the ultimate helping winning game by dealing a good chunk of damage. Gonna run them in Will and Rowan commander for flavor and the deck really can support them.
I also hope this is Will and Rowan "thing" for cards so that we don't need to have two walker slots open for them. Not saying I don't wanna see them in separate card just like them and think this would be a bit easier to fit for walker slots.

Officially previewed today on a Russian site. Not to ***** on any Russians around but that seems like an odd, obscure place to drop the faces of your set.

Also Happily Ever After (possibly a card name) shows the high king and his wife.

Must be their stepmom.
It is, Rowan and Will are the biological children of the High King and a Witch that used a love potion on hin. (he was alread married with his wife and tecnically cheated on her and got raped by the witch)

Being raped and cheating are two way different things my friend. The highking got Cosby'd.

Obviously remarried since Rowan and will aren’t black
Oh I wonder if it’s ritual of the “you win the game” ability cards?
I have seen a lot of people poo pooing this card and saying it's not good at all, but I feel like it's sneaky good. It doesn't fit the classic protect yourself, card advantage, game winning ultimate equation so some may not think it's good. However, I think in the decks that it will be played in, it will be very good. I play jeskai delver in modern and have tested this card a bit. It seems like it fits great in a tempo an/or aggro control build. It's good when you want to stay aggressive with a threat, it's good if you are on a stalled board and are looking for a threat or answer and it also has a game ending ultimate in those styles of decks.
The only weakness the card would suffer from would be protecting itself, but because it comes in with such a high loyalty for a three mana walker it basically does that on it's own. With all of that said, this card won't fit directly into all midrange decks in these colors. However, in specific decks this card will be very very good in my opinion. This is all one man's opinion

Im witcha here.
First: Cycling cards is always good. It grants there is likely always somethin 4 u 2 play as long as this Planeswalker is around.
It's constant card-supply for 3 mana, that gives loyality, man !
Ixalan Jace can only dream of this.
Second ability feels weird, cuz its on a blue card. Turning attackers in hard to kill by combat-threats, who also threaten Planeswalkers + fast clock is really great for 3 mana. Compare to WAR Vivien's +1 . . .
Ultimate is oK. Nothin special. You'll @ least have 5 cards in hand & deal 5 to anything. Its on yall to yield more.
Another big + is they enter with 6 loyality. Always. & only gain more.
For 3 mana this is a seriously powaful card imo !
they look like expressionless zombies in it. much prefer the regular version.
Yeah I can’t say I dig this version. Like what’s going on? Why are they holding their swords in such awkward positions? The normal version is much more dynamic and keeps with the tone of the duo from some of the battlebond cards.
yea same here.
not nice to criticize the artist, but meh, i really dont like this art. to think it will be the more rare version which is supposed to make the card expansive hurts too.
the normal art outclasses this one heavily.
weird faces, weird stance, meaningless backround.
I like Rowan as a red planeswalker who helps flesh out an archetype for the color. She feels like a battle mage who contrasts nicely with Chandra. Unfortunately, her strong association with Will serves only to get his massive blandness all over her. Will basically looks like Jace with bleached hair.
My suggestion: put Will in some heavier frost armor and have him grow a beard (helps to stay warm). Maybe give him and Rowan frost and flame shields, respectively. That would do a lot to make him a more distinctive blue planeswalker and play up the battle mage archetypes.

Somehow “Blonde chick with flame sword and red armor accents” is less bland than “Blonde guy with icy sword and blue armor accents”?

Uh, yes. That "somehow" is the context of other planeswalkers, not an absolute measure of originality. But if you had given my comment any intellectual charity you'd have nothing to say, so here we are instead.

Turns out that card might be what’s holding that new ultility thing for white unless it was artifact O-rings

Well let’s consider their context shall we? Rowan is the third “carded” planeswalker who’s powers are based in fire. And let’s not forget Balastrix from a few of the books. Rowan is also female. Just like all three of the others. From what little we have of her she seems confident and maybe even a bit brash. Just like the other 3 (Jaya being older and thus displaying less of that than in her younger years not withstanding). Will on the other hand is the only walker we have with ice based powers (not counting Vronos here since he existed for the purpose of being killed by Garruk). The only physical traits Will shares with Jace are being white skinned and male. From the arts we have of him he looks taller with much more sharp facial features than Jace. And their skills are completely different. So, outside of you no wanting to see a white make planeswalker (not saying that’s how you feel just that’s the only reasoning I can see), there’s no reason to think Will is bland at all, much less more bland than his sister.
All that said I’m not trying to argue that they’re bad characters.

Just to note Rowan uses electricity and not fire.
Outside of looking somewhat similar Will and Jace are pretty different takes on blue imo since Will is the most battle center blue walker we gotten so far compared to the scholars types we've seen.

Thank you for making some good points related to my comment.
Rowan does use fire but she feels much more melee oriented. That's enough to make her feel different to me. Will uses ice, I'm advocating they push that theme for him a little harder. Even with the sword he looks more mage than warrior, hence the Jace comparison. Blue warrior type character is mostly not explored much in general.
I also hope this is Will and Rowan "thing" for cards so that we don't need to have two walker slots open for them. Not saying I don't wanna see them in separate card just like them and think this would be a bit easier to fit for walker slots.
