Consider that this can be a free card in the 'yard. I'm sure Delve decks can't break that.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Those doubting it will replace Ancient Stirrings, keep in mind you can play this and then Ancient Stirrings both on turn 1 when you use both in your deck.
So that's 17 cards you can look at turn 1 to assemble tron?
The title got me thinking... do you think they will print some legendary Disney princesses, or they will just be common/uncommon like our little mermaid friend wishful merfolk?

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Once Upon a Time This will for sure see play. If you are playing green it's hard to pass up a potential turn 0 play. End of your opponents first turn cast the spell.
In modern as well tron will use this in a heart beat it’s a slightly weaker and instant speed Ancient Stirrings
But not that it matter it’s the tron lands is what a stiring job is for finding the lands

Why turn 2 when you can slam it turn 1? I would wager that more than a few combo decks will use this to keep otherwise unusable hands.
PRO-Level Play: My opponent's EOT on turn 1, before I've had a turn.

Using a general name like Guardian makes it easier to reprint in a future set if they want to print it with a guy instead.
Kind of a pity the Wicked Stepmother isn't a legendary, I'm sure some fans looked forward to building a commander deck around a cruel taskmaster.
Really, kind of a pity this set doesn't have more legendary creatures in general, fairy tale-themed commanders would be fun to build around.
