Wow this is pretty interesting. The human restriction in what creatures you can take is a bit limiting but even if you read it as taking an artifact it's a reasonable option for red

Protection from reason (Decadent_Creed can't be blocked, targeted, dealt damage, or enchanted by reason.)

Yeah I think restricting the creature to only be human is a bit much. But it’s also a 4 /3 flier with a wildly relevant creature type for 4 which is already above rate.
Urza is a human...and Thopter Foundry is an artifact...
I can't see this card played in modern, not even against a bolt-free deck with plenty of targets like tribal humans. Four mana is a lot to ask for a 4/3 flier, and the ETB trigger is more of a red take on Banisher Priest than even a full Control Magic.

Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
Not a fan. It's limited in what it can take, and it makes it utterly useless when it does hit one of those targets. On top of it, it has the weak stat line of having 3 toughness.
Overall, it might be a flavorful design, but it will be lost in time, like tears in rain.
There a reason you have to be such a downer about it?
Whatever the dragon steals, you can sac to a card like Witch's Oven. I mean, saccing Humans to make Food is gross, and I probably wouldn't have limited the creature theft to Humans, but it shows that you can find a use for the Dragon's loot or captive. You can also tap the artifact or Human to, say, Improvise, Convoke, or activate cards like Springleaf Drum. Also consider that Conjurer's Closet can flicker the artifact or Human creature, returning it to the battlefield under your control, now fully functional. Add a Strionic Resonator to copy the Closet's triggered ability and target the Dragon, and use a Panharmonicon to copy the Dragon's ETB effect.

This card is my fault. I won Twisted Metal and asked Calypso for a red dragon card that has an etb effect that allows me to temporarily control an opponent's permanent but this is the card he made exist.
Seriously what is this? Would a Conquering Manticore dragon just be too much to ask for?
Temporary control would feel weird on a Dragon. "Oh, I bothered carrying you all the way to my lair just so we could have some afternoon tea." Keeping the permanent for as long as the Dragon remains on the battlefield makes more sense. I don't get why the creature theft is limited to Humans, I would sooner they imposed a cost or size limit.

I was wondering how it would take for them to actually show a dragon in this set
Stealing a darksteel forge is probably the best option since it’s the first theift card that turns off something

First we get a Dragon that creates Treasure, now we have a Dragon that steals artifacts and Humans (be they princesses or otherwise). Love the classic Dragon tropes at work.
