Well now we know those art for the basics from the leak are real
I don’t care about negativity I’m definatly getting a lot of these for my current/future edh decks most particually my new scarecrow tribal I’m gonna work on after Christmas and my elemental deck since it looks on theme for elemental tribal
I know I have riffed about them looking like pokemon energy, but I don't hate them, I actually want to get enough for a few decks.
As the artwork actually makes a lot of sense. Where is the mana coming from? Nyx. It is the realm of the gods and of dreams. Mortals visit it in their sleep. So when you are casting spells and activating abilities with these lands, you are turning your dreams into reality. Which if that isn't motivating then I don't know what is.
I kinda wish each of them had some representation of their respective land type in the foggy nyx-ishness but I don't mind them really. I'll probably run some of them. It's cool that they're full art and textless too I guess.
I hope we are also getting regular Grecian landscape basic lands though
One basic per type in a "large" set would be a bit sparse. Probably some normal landscapes and these in the uncommon slot like the Hour of Devastation full-arts.

It appears you were correct!
I didn't really pay attention in Hour of Devastation, but how did those work? I thought the idea of those was that you could expect a full art about 25% of the time. Was that the case? If so, that doesn't seem to be the case here (unless you have another source I missed).

They seem to be one in every pack, but Theros appears to also have regular basics, presumably in the basic land slot. Meaning the full art Nyx lands may take up a different slot, like in HOU.
I wonder if those are from the Holiday Bundle or something else. The set size is 15 cards smaller than Eldraine which suggests 15 fewer basics and the card numbers of the mountains are 284 and 285 which is higher than the set size. And they don't say "285/254" which suggests they are not in boosters (at least, not the normal boosters).
I think for people that want those it is great. You clearly do so that seems to be a good thing though I am not sure how we would get them in foil if people care about that.
EDIT: I guess the planeswalker decks would be the place for these as I think Zendikar Returned had "non-full art" basics in the Planeswalker decks (or whatever we had at the time).

It’s possible. Or the bundles having them instead.L and the full art are only form boosters, which is fair. I prefer to see Grecian landscapes showing actual Theros to the nyx lands. So I want these instead. I saw an island so I am happy to know I’ll get some Theros marine landscapes
I saw a lot of people asking about the Bundle on Twitter regarding these lands so I hope they eventually answer that question (for both our sake ). I am obviously hoping the bundle has the full arts as that would be the easiest way to obtain a lot of them in foil.
I guess we wait to see when Wizards clarifies that.
This style of lands were going to happen eventually. I fully await a Llanowar Elves (or other mana dork) to just have a giant green mana symbol that takes up the entirety of the text box.
Well, it looks like we have our answer on where the non full arts will be. It is disappointing for anyone (like me) that wanted the full arts in the bundle but better for anyone that wanted these. Assuming they are alright with buying a bundle or, at least, the land pack on eBay:

Oh and one per pack
