I think Timeless Wisdom has Red in it. Why else would it be the fourth deck in the list?
Name one situation where WOTC releases a 5 preconstructed deck set, starting with the Intro Packs, which was when they started doing the whole Color Pattern thing, where the fourth deck on the list of 5 does not have Red in it.
The only exceptions are the Return to Ravnica Block intro packs, because the list of decks are based on the 10 guilds as a whole, and not the 5 colors. The order of Guilds would be Azorius, Orzhov, Dimir, Izzet, Rakdos, Golgari, Gruul, Boros, Selesnya, and then finally Simic. That is why the fourth intro pack is Golgari, considering the 3 before it were Azorius, Izzet, and Rakdos.
The other exception is Commander 2016. The fourth deck in the list is the deck that has every other color but Red. Much like the fifth one on the list has every color but Green.
I just think the 5 decks will simply be Wedges. Based on the Color Pattern, Ruthless Regiment must have White in it, and Black and Red also fit the name.
Almost everyone thinks Arcane Maelstrom is Temur, so I'd go with that too.
Symbiotic Swarm has got to be Black and Green.
Timeless Wisdom, as I said, must have Red in it. The name fits Blue White, so I just think it will be Jeskai.
Enhanced Evolution seems Green Blue.
The 5 decks doesn't have to be all Wedges, maybe it can be a combination of Wedges and Enemy Pairs, but for color balance sakes, Symbiotic Swarm has White in it, while Enhanced Evolution has Black in it, to make them wedges.
Given that Tarkir was changed from a wedge plane to a plane of allied guilds, getting a new wedge plane isn’t out of the picture...
Tarkir was wedge
Alara did shard
Tarkir started as Wedge, by the third set the Plane is now Allied-colour. Its no longer Wedge any more. So we're missing a Wedge plane.
I mean, they pretty clearly hint at the return of wedges, and given how strongly people liked it it’ll come back. The real question is how the dragons being two color would tie in. But Tarkir will return as a wedge plane.

Oh right sarkhan time travel changed the future after he saved ugin and dragons became the dominate species
Ikoria might take tarkir a place as a wedge plane
But really I think 4 legends per box equals them doing partner again
Probably either the reverse of what they did in C16 which was 2 enemy colored partners and 1 allied parter for this it would be 2 allied colored partners and 1 enemy colored
Or one of each color combo that can be made from the 3 colors

I'm pretty sure Maro said something on his tumblr recently about how people wanting a return to Tarkir really wanted a return to allied color dragon clans, so I wouldn't necessarily say going back means we'll get more wedge support.
Still, there were those "rebel" factions within the dragon clans themselves, if I remember correctly. Especially in Atarka's clan.

Wait, so Alara isn’t a Shard Plane then? Because the theme for the last set was “all gold” not shards. That just seems like a silly standard to apply but you do what works for you I supppse.
With the possible exception of Timeless Wisdom, these names scream enemy color pairs.
i agree completely.
my first thought was enemy color pairs, but timeless wisdom threw a wrench into that idea, however; orzhov has ghosts/spirits that sorta thing, so you could make the argument timeless wisdom has something to do with communing with the dead. it'd still be a bit of a stretch given more obvious words to use to relay that idea, but i could see it working if the deck is oriented around the graveyard.

Nah man, Orzhov does not have Red, and Timeless Wisdom will most likely have Red in it. If not, explain to me why Timeless Wisdom is 4th one on the list, or why the 5 decks are ordered in the way that they are ordered?
I'd say the Wisdom part makes it Blue, so the deck is Izzet. I also think Arcane Maelstrom is also Izzet. This leads me to believe the decks are going to be Wedge based, with Arcane Maelstrom having Green, and Timeless Wisdom having White in it.
I will say this:
Ruthless Regiment will most likely have White in it.
Arcane Maelstrom will most likely have Blue in it.
Symbiotic Swarm will most likely have Black in it.
Timeless Wisdom will most likely have Red in it.
Enhanced Evolution will most likely have Green in it.
I am obsessed with precons so much that I know that whoever made that list of Commander 2020 Ikoria decks didn't just randomly just decide to order them as Ruthless Regiment, Arcane Maelstrom, Symbiotic Swarm, Timeless Wisdom, followed by Enhanced Evolution. That is to say if WOTC decides to color balance all 5 decks. Otherwise anything goes if they don't.
I need to see the packaging for one other deck first before I can claim my prediction as true though. From the pictures of the packaging for Arcane Maelstrom, the 2nd one on the list, we know it is the Blue based deck. (Look at the sides of the packaging). I also believe that the packaging for the 5 decks will be color coded, and knowing that Timeless Wisdom is 4th on the list, the blue part in the Arcane Maelstrom packaging will be red in the Timeless Wisdom packaging, suggesting that Timeless Wisdom will have Red in it. The front of the packaging is red because the rest of the Ikoria products are red.

if they go full cycle with them, this is how i see it. ruthless regiment inspires militarism which is solidly in boros. arcane maelstrom evokes the idea of wild magic flying about which is pretty solidly izzet. symbiosis and swarms are solidly into golgari, its their thing. enhanced evolution also feels solidly simic given evolve and adapt. that leaves timeless wisdom as the wildcard but like i said before you could argue spirits bring the wisdom of their past lives - so communing with the dead - which is a very orzhov thing. i do agree the words wisdom and timeless inspires blue/white but wisdom does spill into white a little and timelessness is certainly a property of the dead.

Agree with those and like all of us conclude especially myself
I’m 95% sure that 2 of the deck combos will be abzan and temur since those are the only 2 three color combos left not done since the done with color combos combination announcement
And I can tell you symbolic swarm is most likely abzan from selesyna being the king ship color combo of tokens and golgari for sacrificing since I’m sure you’ll be fine with saving a 1/1 token and probably another good opportunity to reprint ghave since he’s a token maker
And temur will either be arcane maelstrom since you know who or enhanced evolution for a less broken version of animar
With the possible exception of Timeless Wisdom, these names scream enemy color pairs.

We all know that this isn't true, and that Ruthless Regiment is first, and Timeless Wisdom is fourth. Orzhov doesn't have Red in it.
If you look at every precon set that has 5 decks, in most cases, the fourth one listed always has Red in it. Exceptions being the Return to Ravnica block, because they are ordering the decks by the 10 guilds as a whole, rather than the 5 colors, and with Commander 2016, where they are ordering them by the color they lack. Even Shadowmoor and Eventide Theme decks have this pattern. WOTC may have established this pattern starting with Shadowmoor, or it could be Shards of Alara, where the order in which they list the decks determines what color will be in the deck.
For Shadowmoor, in order, the decks are:
Aura Mastery, has White
Mortal Coil, has Blue
Army of Entropy, has Black
Overkill, has Red
Turnabout, has Green
For Eventide,
Life Drain, has White
Sidestep, has Blue
Death March, has Black
Battle Blitz, has Red
Superabundance, had Green
In order to determine the order of the decks, the packaging has some string of numbers. Using Core 2020 Planeswalker Decks for example, Ajani's deck has a string of numbers ending in 1, Yanling has a string of numbers ending in 2, Sorin has a string of numbers ending in 3, Chandra has a string of numbers ending in 4, and Vivien having a string of numbers ending in 5, with the string of numbers preceeding it being the same for all 5 decks. In another case, the last digit is 1 for all decks, as is with Theros Beyond Death Intro Packs:
Elspeth Deck is 207C7403000001
Ashiok Deck is 207C7404000001
Elspeth Deck is Deck #1
Ashiok Deck is Deck #2
If the list is indeed the order of which the decks are ordered,
Ruthless Regiment being Deck #1
Arcane Maelstrom being Deck #2
Symbiotic Swarm being Deck #3
Timeless Wisdom being Deck #4
Enhanced Evolution being Deck #5
Ruthless Regiment must have White, Arcane Maelstrom must have Blue, Symbiotic Swarm must have Black, Timeless Wisdom must have Red, and Enhanced Evolution must have Green. From this knowledge I believe the 5 decks will be Wedge decks.
Ruthless Regiment is Mardu
Arcane Maelstrom is Temur
Symbiotic Swarm is Abzan
Timeless Wisdom is Jeskai
Enhanced Evolution is Sultai
New Phyrexia has a Intro Pack called Life for Death. You'd think because there is the word Life, it is White, and Death it is Black, thus making the deck White Black, but in reality the deck is Red White. The deck just so happens to be the fourth one on the list. Artful Destruction? It says destruction, so it's gotta have Red in it, right? Nope, White Green. Artful Destruction is also first on the list. The list being:
Artful Destruction WG
Devouring Skies UB
Feast of Flesh BR
Life For Death RW
Ravaging Swarm GU
One thing that is true in most cases where there is a 5 deck set is that the first deck in the list has White, 2nd one has Blue, 3rd one has Black, 4th deck has Red, 5th deck has Green.
The names of the decks aren't the only thing that determines what colors are in the deck. You also have to look at the way they list the decks as well. The list sure ain't alphabetical.
Speaking of alphabetical, in the WOTC site, back when 8th edition was a new thing, the decks were ordered as Expulsion, the Black deck, Heavy Hitters, the Green Deck, Life Boost, the White deck, Sky Slam, the blue deck, and Speed Scorch, the Red deck.
From the packaging:
Life Boost is Deck #1
Sky Slam is Deck #2
Expulsion is Deck #3
Speed Scorch is Deck #4
Heavy Hitters is Deck #5
All I'm trying to say is, there is a reason why these list of 5 decks is in that specific order. Timeless Wisdom I believe to be Deck #4, because it is the fourth one on the list, and thus Timeless Wisdom must have Red in it. This is only true if the decks are a 5 deck set.
The point is that they aren’t removing Tarkir as Wedge plane. Ikoria could be a Wedge plane, but it could just as easily be a Shard plane, both Wedges and Shards have one plane to their name.

Tarkir was wedge
Alara did shard
Going back to the packaging I showed earlier with 4 foils it just hit me
There was one other time they did 4 foils and guess what it was
Commander 2016 the 4 color decks look at the packaging you’ll see I’m right each one has 4 foils
It was because of partner last time it was 2 emeny color paired partners and 1 ally
For this commander product probably gonna reverse it this time 2 ally partners and 1 enemy partner
Shards of awful never
Tarkir started as Wedge, by the third set the Plane is now Allied-colour. Its no longer Wedge any more. So we're missing a Wedge plane.

All I'm trying to say is, there is a reason why these list of 5 decks is in that specific order. Timeless Wisdom I believe to be Deck #4, because it is the fourth one on the list, and thus Timeless Wisdom must have Red in it. This is only true if the decks are a 5 deck set.

This might be the new wedge plane which tarkir lost so these are probably infact wedge decks if this is the case for a love letter to “commander 2011”
That's a Maro non-answer if I ever saw one. Don't hold your breath.
