Huh... I really thought the first leaked creature was just well... the only one but this second looks very much the same style. I guess Yu-Gi-Oh is influencing the card art direction for this set? We're going to see a ton of nearly comical spiky beasts from this point forward?

I think it kinda looks like a Digimon design
You mean like Bulucomon or some such? Yeah, kind of. It's mind blowing that that franchise is still going.
Regardless of whether it looks like Yu-Gi-Oh or Digimon or some kind of Mega Gallade, I get the distinct feeling the art direction so far is intensely influenced by these other franchises. It saddens me that WotC feels they can't afford to stand apart from other franchises in this regards.
Hound that generates fetch counters oh my gosh that is so flavorful in so many levels if it’s the plains fetcher "Whenever you cast a spell with X in it's mana cost" do something I think I know exactly what this is it’s either just a creature or legendary creature of Unbound Flourishing or maybe damage to any target equal to X spells Cycle of cards that is a reimagining of an old, popular multplayer cycle Question is it marks hint from before or is it a second cycle that’s being completed or created There's a creature that generates mana you can ONLY use to activate abilities oh boy oh boy this smells like a activated ability focused commander deck 8 non-evergreen returning mechanics i really hope prowess and Enrage are two of them Whale Wolf,Cat-Dinossaur Tokens Oh my gosh these creature types are getting more insane by the minute Single legendary card that brings back and uses experience counters Sweet experience counters are back

I think the art type on the poster is going to be for showcase card's only, but I kinda get your point unfortunately I think in the next 5 years we'll have a set with a heavy sci-fi theme, it's only a matter of time till WOTC does it, I know it
But there’s lots of yu-gi-oh creatures and digimon that resemble that thing
By the way I’m almost certain that’s show case art on a collector booster it had the behemoth creature on the key art on the collector booster image it look cartoon like like this and the other boosters were 3d and magic like

With a ship that can travel planes no doubt, a robot thats flavored as a golem and maybe something like the borg?

Mirrodin was not sci-fi enough for you? The phyrexian are not assimilating every culture? resistance was not futile?
The Make Your Monster poster has a very 80s cartoon style to it. For some reason I instantly thought of Transformers and Thunder Cats and I don't know why.
If they were to bring Prowess back, this would be the type of set to do it in as it wouldn't be standard legal.

So... since I don't think anyone has said it outright yet, I imagine that the more cartoonish style on the most recent poster will be the art-style used for the showcase cards. Heck, that red monstrosity and the yellow badger-dinosaur thing from the initial pictures may be the same exact card.
This policy goes into effect Tuesday, March 24. We'll continue monitoring the situation and make adjustments where necessary, including potentially rescheduling Ikoria launch, which many WPN members have asked about. Expect final word on that decision in the coming days.
Erm Ikoria might be pushed back, I really hope this doesn't happen
Prowess
Meld
Evolve (there’s just no way it’s not happening)
Enrage
Cascade (unless maelstrom meant something else)
Devour
Monstrosity
Kicker
Those are what I can think of that could be in The commander decks
Monstrosity seems like having the most chance of those,Enrage too thanks to the teasers we know there's a good amount of dinos,Devour looks legit too, dunno about Cascade,Evolve,Prowess, Meld kinda has a chance as well

But yeah looks like a good list
I doubt meld on the grounds that wizards has never put a 2-sided card into a commander pre-con (it removes the ability to play the deck out of the box). Even if two partner commanders get meld, it would force someone playing out of the box not to use any secondary commanders.

i mean... do you know anything about early magic? Have you ever seen power armor or invasion plans?
All these people scared about mtg going sci-fi... mtg started with a lot of sci fi in it.
The yugioh style for the monster is for showcase cards. Same as eldraine and theros ones. The sky isn't falling.

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.

Look
Left image is Vivian and a dragon does that look like the same art style
And the one on the right is a collector booster image
Are special border style is comic book style based on this

Not sure which one it is
“Cat dinosaur”
“Cat Nightmare”
“Badger Dinosaur”
But there’s lots of yu-gi-oh creatures and digimon that resemble that thing

"You can tell how dumb someone is by how they use Mary Sue"
Shu Yun, the Silent Tempest WUR Voltron Control
Temmet, Vizier of Naktamun WU Unblockable Mirror Trickery
Ra's al Ghul (Sidar Kondo) and Face-Down Ninjas
Brudiclad, Token Engineer
Vaevictis (VV2) the Dire Lantern
Rona, Disciple of Gix
Tiana the Auror
Hallar
Ulrich the Politician
Zur the Rebel
Scorpion, Locust, Scarab, Egyptian Gods
O-Kagachi, Mathas, Mairsil
"Non-Tribal" Tribal Generals, Eggs
3 involve the word dinosaur I feel dinosaur will get a quite a bit of the creature combos
Which makes sense because nearly all of the Godzilla monsters are based of dinosaurs
The last time Garruk had a rapture with a woman there was a whole big stink about it. Maybe we just let them hunt.

That’s got to be the Demon kraken
EDIT: on further exspection it has a dinosaur head so it might be the “dinosaur turtle”

The rest of that list could work, though.
Oh enrage is not dinosaur exclusive
https://markrosewater.tumblr.com/post/613397601921974272/is-enrage-limited-to-dinosaurs-or-any
Also enrage was intended to be the gruul mechanic in ravnica alligence instead of riot but ixalan got it
Glad you agree with my list though
Prowess is for “timeless wisdom” commander deck
Funny, I talked about Meld here and no one responded. That's cool you're thinking of Prowess like me
