Oh good they put the actual card in the article. Lol I looked at that article earlier and there was no card. Just the space Godzilla and showcase arts with no text. It’s nice to know what he can actually do now.
Oh yay!! This is a fun, self-recurring legend as long as you have a non-Human out. I think this will ultimately be the mutate commander since thus far most of the enablers and good triggers are in this wedge, and I think it'll serve that role quite well.
Sublime art, as well. I think the saddest thing about a lot of these legends have no room for flavor text, I hope the Apexes get referred to elsewhere in the flavor to better flesh out their role in the world.
God that art is ugly... maybe i'll play the spacegodzilla

How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
and if you control another zombie combining him with Food Chain and Gravecrawler is an infinite death combo...
Whelp that was easy
Neither combo works because Food Chain exiles. When you exile the mutated creature, you exile all of the parts, including Brokkos. So he doesn't go into the graveyard to be cast again.

Damn I forgot that part. Back to the drawing board. Honestly though Brokkos is easily the best mutate card so far as far as commander is concerned....
Of course Sultai gets the good card while Temur is left with a Poor Man's Maelstrom Wanderer...

This aint your girlfriends meta! This is a man's meta! TURBO META.
Well now that we officialy know what mutate does this guy looks worse but playable imo. I like the art: a beast/tree/forest reminds me of Vigor and some giant turtles from fantasy. Is Mutate what will make Garruk, Cursed Huntsman a meta card? Maybe Black Uro will use imo.

Oro makes this guy stupid...Got a Sol Ring? NOPE ITS BROKKOS!
My Mana Crypt? BROKKOS!
Got a congation clasp? NOPE! BROKKOS!
And Honestly I can see Brokkos being pretty strong. Having a commander that dodges commander tax so long as you have a creature seems pretty strong. Sure, he is not as straight up busted as... all of SUltai's commanders, but compared to Temur? He is strong

Who is Oro? What card are you referring to? Please
This guy acts like an equipment that you attach from your graveyard.
All the random mana creatures become 6/6 monsters if you need them to be (and thats semi-haste, so the opponent always has to take it into account).
Works especially well with the amount of +1/+1 counters around (and keep in mind that any creature you mutate this on becomes a "commander" if this is your commander, which is a thing for the casual tables).

Sure, but Otrimi has the same stats, a lower Mutate cost, and an ability that’s a lot more fun for a Mutate deck, imo.

Wouldn't you need to cast Brokkos from exile for this to work?

They’re almost certainly talking about Oko, Thief of Crowns.
As for Brokkos, meh. Super boring. Otrimi, the Ever-Playful is a better Mutate commander imo,
and Nethroi, Apex of Death is the better apex monster.
