Creature- Cat Beast
Vigilance
Creature you control with vigilance have "1, T: Tap target creature." "Fear not the behemoth heard from miles away. Fear the stalking felidar, which reveals itself only for the kill.

Okay, I totally get why it' a cat beast, and I kind of love that it's a Cat Beast but doesn't that effectively (at least in terms of flavour) make it a beast beast (a cat is a beast after all). This set's wackiness continues to impress me.
Speaking of wacky... hello mini Glare of Subdual (I'd say Opposition, but the colors line up cleaner this way)

It's like a Glare of Subdual on a stick. Declare attacks, then tap blockers?
Your doing it wrong if it’s not a game ending attack. First you tap down their creatures on their 1st main phase, then vigilance attack on your turn, then tap down on their 1st main again, attack again on your turn.....lather, rinse, repeat till game.

I mean, I think I get why this is rare? Glare was a format defining card in its day, and I don't think I would want to see too many of these in draft. Cuz it feels really hard to love with this plus 1 or 2 other folks

Could someone provide a link to an image of any kind of cat that has a head even barely resembling this? It looks canine to me, if anything. Might be a last minute change, might be I need to research the scope of feline anatomy...
It does have an pronounced muzzle which is not at all usual in felines, but the Beast aspect sort of allows for that art direction, I suppose. Ajani, the Greathearted will definitely be paired with this.

Many thanks to DNC at Heroes of the Plane Studios
Well huh, I've never noticed that before. And I've more than once won off a Felidar Sovereign alt win.
The ability is neat, though.
