Does a good edh deck want this? The players I play with eon't play these because they enter tapped. They are too slow.
you have got to be kidding me
Nearly Every single edh deck uses the tri-lands from alara or/and tarkir if 3 or higher on colors they use the ones they are reprinted to death in commander decksfor a reason
The only one deck that was a mistake was the 5 color deck
Oh by the way the amonkhet “bicycle” have Ben spotted in a few modern decks
Tapped is pretty bad for any older constructed format , but these lands are totally fine for Commander decks.
Shocklands and original duals are still far better, unless you really want the "domain" mechanic to shine.
The cycling is pretty terrible as its so expensive, but you can use it if you have nothing else.
----
Fine lands as they are, but far from spectacular.
I can actually put these to good use. I already play the bicycle lands in Pioneer New Perspectives. Having a third color makes them that much better for me, and I cycle for 0 anyways, so it doesn't matter what the cycling cost is.
Also its confirmed by Eli Shiffrin on Twitter that because Zirda, the Dawnwaker doesn't say activated ability of a permanent you control it affects cycling, as well as other activated abilities in different zones like scavenge. With Zirda out, you can cycle these for 1.
Well Farseek and Spoils of Victory just became even nicer color fixers. The ETB tapped clause matters little with those.
A 5 color EDH Manabase could like this
2 Triomes - Covering the 5 colors.
10 Fetchlands
10 Dual/Shocklands
Command Tower
Mana Confluence
Exotic Orchard
City of Brass
3x forest
1 of each other basic
Some utility lands - Like a Kessig Wolf Run or Alchemist's Refuge
These are great despite what the cEDH spikes out there have to say. They're very functional all around and will likely be a part of many multicolor decks.

As someone who plays cedh... 1-2 of these probably still make the cut for some 4-5 color cedh decks, especially for those who don't own a copy of every dual land, there are plenty of situations where you fetch shock lands and have them enter tapped, reasonably safe to run one of these to fetch in those instances instead.

I have a 3-color EDH deck, and I would try to run any land that produces any of my colors that enters the battlefield untapped before I would run the triomes. Playing a ETBT land in the early turns is fine, but if you draw ETBT lands late game, it can make the difference between winning and losing, even in more casual settings.
However, these are definitely the best ETBT color-fixing lands Wizards has made and worth getting if alternatives are too expensive or unavailable.
You know as a The Ur-Dragon main in EDH I found this set to be a massive disappointment. I mean we have a big monsters set that ties into EDH precons yet it only introduces a single dragon that actually isn't a big monster. If not dragon creatures I would hope that perhaps it would introduce something useful because it's been so long since anything useful for the deck was relea-*Notices the land types*
I’m almost speechless lands with 3 basic land types god bless these enter tapped
This comment is slightly weird... If they did NOT enter tapped, they'd be far better than even the ABU duals, and those are Logic of empire not to be exceeded in quality, EVER.
I'm also puzzled at the showcase frames, I had expended normal "box-topper" arts but we get something special!! And they look fantastic!!!!
I don't know why, but I'm not a fan of these lands. Don't get me wrong, they are incredibly useful and the art is great, especially on the showcases, but something tells me that the three land types are going to lead to something going awry.
Brilliant art direction on these guys. You can clearly tell that each basic land type is represented in the art of each triome.
Now with that out of the way, dear lord these are sexy. Any of these triomes can be fetched by nine out of the ten fetchlands, which will make them super nice fixing in cubes. I kinda hope this set gets printed into oblivion like THB did, so all of the showcase foils aren't too expensive.

Oh hi, you must not play competitive EDH. Otherwise you would know how important it is to not lose tempo by playing lands tapped, and you would know that almost no good cEDH deck plays any sort of taplands.
These are fine for EDH decks. But they're too slow for optimized EDH decks.
The problem with defining this format by what is "fun" is that everyone seems to define fun as what they don't lose to. If you keep losing to easily answered cards, that means you should improve your deck. If you don't want to improve your deck, then you should come to peace with the idea that you are going to lose because you chose to not interact with better strategies.

As I understand it, it mostly means that there are a couple of fetches that could egt these lands that otherwise would be limited to mostly basics. However, there are also dual lands (and I don't just mean the original duals) that have multiple land types, and they didn't break anything, so I think these will be fine.
The only thing I dislike is that they're probably going to eb too pricey to be put in every deck I own that could run them

Exactly.
There are always “down” turns where you don’t need max mana output,
and fetching one of these when it does no harm does a *lot* to fix your mana later on.

You do realize Causal is the vast majority of edh players so yes ofcoarse I’m casual and I’m Aware you want untapped most of the time in cedh
One interesting thing about these is how location specific they are. Historically, lands have been named super generic names to allow for reprinting in other planes, any plane could have a Godless Shrine or a lonely sandbar. Names like these are reserved for land that will not be reprinted in other settings. Not sure what that signals but I feel like this will be the wedge plane going forwards.

"Tri-lands" are super specific all the time, as sets rarely support a tri-color theme (and if they do, we get pretty much always some kind of these lands in some form).
Putting cycling on these further reduces the sets to reprint these in (but in Shards of Alara we had a cycling theme too).
With the new "showcase naming" thing they could very well start reprinting cards with new names and art , while referencing the "original" card as the real name.
But they really have to badly want to reprint a card to do that kind of stuff (and as its WotC they will do it at some point).

You do realize that Optidongus was talking about good, optimized EDH decks and not casual, right?
He specifically said, "Does a good EDH deck want this?"
Nowhere did he say or imply that these wouldn't be mainstays in most of EDH, he simply said that his playgroup (which I can assume is competitive) won't run them because they're too slow.
And you proceeded to facepalm at him and react as if he said the land cycle was hot garbage, which it definitely isn't.
If you knew that Optidongus was talking about good (i.e. competitive) EDH, and you knew that cEDH decks want untapped lands, then why did you deride him in the first place? Why did you say anything at all?
Because I'm really questioning your reading comprehension skills here, and I'm wondering aloud if you constantly feel the need to share your opinion about every single thing.

For a long time I though they would never print such cycle. But I guess, they are fine with tapped lands. They won't disrupt any format because they can't enter untapped.
If you can’t even afford to play an ETBT land that is *this* good,
you should honestly consider finding another playgroup.
I was already running the lesser versions of these in decks that can win in a few turns.

I think these emerge as the third best multilands in the game: ABUR duals, shocklands, then these.

Amusing how we're almost at the end of Ikoria spoiler season, the time the chaff is usually spoiled, and they hit us with these!!!
