Valakut Exploration 2R
Enchantment Landfall — Whenever a land enters the battlefield under your control, exile the top card of your library. You may play that card as long as it remains exiled.
At the beginning of your end step, if there are any cards exiled with Valakut Exploration, put them into their owner's graveyard, then Valakut Exploration deals that much damage to each opponent.
Red's impulsive draw usually means you lose those cards at the end of turn. In this case, you ping your opponent to put them in your graveyard, for red recursion to work on later.
This is a really fun design for red I love how it works in the lands/lands in graveyard, impulse draw and graveyard recursion all at once.

I don't know how to judge it's actual power level, but as far as the templating goes, I love how the cards at least go to the graveyard for potential use later on, and also do some damage in the process. I would for sure want to test this card out in some builds.
Strong in aggro decks. It basically turns drawing unwanted lands into extra draws. And if you bad luck into two lands in a row, you still get to ping your opponent.
hmm... so with around 40% of decks being lands, this is like a mediocor card to me
sure, its awesome in lord windgrace decks or other decks that build around lands.
but i highly doubt it will find a place in red aggro decks as was mentioned above
So if you exile a card and then Valakut Exploration leaves the battlefield, that card is available permanently?
That's what the translation appears to imply, which also makes this card cool. One of the biggest drawbacks of other cards with this similar effect was that it had a lot of "Feels Bad" moments when you exile your cards under a card and then someone just kills it all nonchalant.
There will likely be Gruul landfall beatdown that plays this. Temur landfall with Uro is also likely going to play this and be competitive. This might be one of the stronger cards of the set.
Tested this as a 1-of in Modern Jund. It's kinda inconsistent but is very capable of drawing 2 cards per turn for quite a few turns. Wrenn and Six turbocharges it, as she keeps feeding it fetches.
I really like the concept of this card because it is an example of effect that fits perfectly with the color pie.
It is a late game card because you need a good amount of mana to make it work, but it turns land draw into card advantage.
Maybe there will be a Ritual Combo deck that might appreciate the full set of this card.

I think a Mono Red or even a low Curve R/x deck could use this to gain card advantage and put damage pressure on an opponent. Obviously in the omnath meta it was unlikely, but I could see this becoming relevant for a few archetypes.

gives me psuedo draw power, fills my graveyard, kerpows my opponent

Even if you brick and draw more lands in the unlikely case, you still deal damage.
And if you get 2 more burn spells per fetchland used, this quickly turns a game over to overwhelm an opponent.

yeah.... it´s kinda close to a one sided Horn of Greed which happens to push a few points of damage when the cards you draw aren´t that good for you.
and it also throws the card in the graveyard instead of exiling them forever.
this card is pretty powerful for quite a number of reasons.
