It was a idea from hackathon in 2019 and they plan on more in the future
And judging on the border of instructions on each of these will probably pop up in set boosters as the advert (non-token) one sometimes
Probably as baby steps as it gets for getting into magic and if this is a thing I think they need to come up with games that you can do without a pack and can use from collections
Overall thoughts are that these look like a neat way to get a little extra fun out of opening packs, maybe even encourage people to come up with their own ideas. I look forward to seeing what new ones pop up in the future. As for the individual games...
Base Race - This one seems a little overly complicated for a simple pack-cracking minigame. I imagine people will typically play these mostly as a way to make opening packs a little more fun, so they'll probably favour the easier to set up single pack games.
Booster Blitz - A hybrid of pack wars and the "beat your opponent's three cards" game? Seems like a fun thought exercise, at the very least.
Booster Sleuth - A Magic take on the classic Mastermind puzzle? That's always fun.
Roil Royale - Probably the biggest miss, as a completely random guessing game. I guess some people like this kinda thing, but I prefer a bit more than rolling the dice and hoping I randomly chose correctly, even for a simple minigame.
Strictly Better - Magic's take on Every Party Card Game Ever? I mean, these kinds of games are always good for a bit of a laugh, and I actually quite like this idea.
these are neat enough, still would rather a token card in every single pack instead of these, a rules insert, or an advertisement card but at least its something different
Not sure I'm interested in the mini-games shown BUT I think this is a very good idea overall to rope in some newbs and casuals. And yes it makes me want to come up with my own versions of mini-games. Good call on this one WotC.

Benjamin Franklin: "Those who would give up essential Liberty, to purchase a little temporary Safety, deserve neither Liberty nor Safety."
Martin Luther King Jr.: "I have a dream that my four little children will one day live in a nation where they will not be judged by the color of their skin, but by the content of their character."
I've been doing pack-based minigames for years and I think these inserts are a great idea. I hope they continue to do this with all sets going forward. It's pretty much a no-downside to include these in set boosters.
I'd rather have something like Planeschase, Archenemy, or Explorers of Ixalan.
Those require significant resources for WotC to produce and sell as a separate product. These minigames are just informational cards found in existing boosters. These aren't, and won't ever be, replacing products like Planechase, Archenemy, or Explorers of Ixalan. They replace tokens and adds.

It doesn't really cost anyone anything to put in, it's just a bonus feature.
