Not tooting my own here, just basing it on my experience teaching HS English, I believe my way of spelling is correct: Ji-sel-luh, w/ an "s" that's almost a "z."
Wouldn't the spelling be "Gisela"?

Heck, every day I wake up, I don't go out and kill people - and I'm rewarded by not having legions of enemies! Amazing how that works.
Although ninjas are experts of camouflage and concealment, they are actually horrible liars. This means that no matter where you are, you can shout out, “Are there any ninjas here?” and if there’s a ninja within earshot, he’ll be compelled to respond.
I know people are complaining about partner and plabeswalker commanders, but I am really excited for this set. The drafting aspect with weird partners sounds super cool, and I think it will be a fun way for some EDH players to break out of their usual habits of playing overpowered cEDH stuff as well as their typical strategies and instead play some weird decks.
Stop labeling good cards as cedh. Cedh is a particular archetype not a set of cards. Way to often people label efficiency as cedh and frankly it just needs to stop. All it does is increase the competitive vs. casual divide and validate sloppy deck building.
This also wont do that for the people who optimize. They just wont play those weird cards. Theyll still pick and choose the best. People who prefer weird will still pick weird.
The more wotc aims their sights at edh the more youre going to have to accept those overpowered cards. The more of them printed the easier everyone accesses them. The more they aim for a reliable strategy.
Im just sick to death of "casuals" calling every good card cedh tryharding just because it foils their 36 card beeble combo
I play both cEDH and "Casual" edh, with the main difference being the cards. You do not play cEDH at the Gaming Stores around the city without having stronger cards than the average EDH player unless you want to get smashed and bullied. The "particular archetype" you mention often times relies on having the best cards in order to win. Also, if I remember correctly, the combined cost of the two cards is around 80$, and they are considered an S tier Commander for the cEDH format. Nobody goes and plays cEDH with a Admiral Beckett Brass deck unless they want to end up reshuffling in 3 turns when someone combos out and they didn't get to play a single card because they were bullied out of the game. Just because you play cEDH does not mean that you are a better player than a casual player, either. "Casual" games of EDH are not just about janky combos and theme decks. Since Casual games tend to last longer than 5 turns, you actually have to plan longterm and overcome a lot more obstacles to win. In every cEDH game I play, the game can usually be decided by turn 3 unless someone pulls something out of nowhere.
For some reason, I think that Creedmoor's statement is not the main dividing point for separating cEDH and Casual, neither is your rude comment about "Casuals". I think it is the fact that Wizards makes good cards that end up costing a lot of money, and the main demographic of people looking to spend that money on those cards are cEDH people.
Good cards are good, but you're missing the main point of his statement, I believe.
Because this is a draft, players, of all walks of EDH, will be forced to play cards outside of their regular realm of play. There is no optimization of their drafted deck due to the limited card pool. It will hopefully bring the two tables together for a good game of EDH.

Summed it up rather well!
I simply meant that it will be exciting to have the mix of EDH players in a draft environment. This set is going to shake up draft and EDH at the same time by combining both aspects.
If you look at the Japanese version of Gisela, her name uses the katakana for the hard g "gi" rather than what would be used for the soft g "ji." Since I assume they'd use the official intended pronunciation when they're translating the cards into Japanese, the hard g is probably correct.

Is it a bad sign for the set if a ton of cards get spoiled and the rumor mill is just buzzing about how to pronounce a hard/soft G name?
Or a bad sign for this forum?
We'll know it's gotten bad if Reddit, FB & other online sources stop asking "What color(s) do you see here?" and starting asking "Is it a soft 'G' or a hard 'G'?"
Will the etched foil cards also be cards in the set itself?
Yeah I remember that Gavin said something about more variation or more fun variation when drawing an etched foil because it could be one of the reprint legends. They will be rare, tho.
I really really hope it doesn't become format turning in pauper
(It’s common in commander legends so now it’s pauper legal)
oh nice. there is enough decks that go wide with creatures that this should be no problem but might become a good option for ub, tortex and mbc especially if people want to play unearth. i know that i will at least test that last option.

It's a lack of talking points. The leaks are in German, and outside of the two planeswalkers the photos we have are just really blurry. It's more a guessing game at this point. That being said, the anger from the Secret Lair might mean the sets for the next six months are all dead in the water, so there's not a lot of discussion left.
Will the etched foil cards also be cards in the set itself?
oh hooray... ANOTHER variant to pull... as if we were hurting for those.
time to start including inserts for gambling addiction
All the etched foil cards are reprints not counted in the set collector number count. For example, the only one we're 100% sure of is Prossh, Skyraider of Kher.

I agree. I am asking though because I noticed Tymna is in the set, from the leak, but she is an etched foil. The original article mentions there are 32 etched foils that are evidently not in the set itself (so they are not variants of reprints in the set). Does this mean Tymna is only an exclusive etched foil? And would that imply Thrasios will be the same, as they are both CEDH staples that are $40-50?
Because if that is the case, I'm going to be seriously pissed. These cards need a genuine reprint, and this is the only place in 4 years that made sense for it to finally happen. This is one of the few opportunities to make these cards accessible for COMMANDER players. And if they end up as exclusive, super limited etched foils with no other versions in this set, that is just pathetic and ridiculously absurd. Especially since I want non-foil versions that don't bend themselves into freaking knots.
I'm getting sick of reprints being so exclusive. These are freaking casual commander cards that WOTC has endless excuses not to reprint in YEARS worth of products (and to think, with the OVERWHELMING number of product bombardment we have, we waited 4 years to see them again). If they're exclusive stupid foils only in collectors packs or lottery slots in the main set, that still bend, I am going to lose it.
Nifty Malcom is here in which means this set goes as recent as Ixalan.

Glacian was rebbecs husband he was stabbed by gix And yawgmoth (Pre-phyrexian) Was hired by Rebbec out of exile to cure him
he had a spark but it never ignited during his life
heres the mega important part this part of the story is right around the area yawgmoth was close to becoming a phyrexian
So very very important character in the old lore
And talking cards thank you for finally reprinting rings of brighthearth
