Oh, geez. That's rough. Another iconic legendary creature from the old lore and books, given a fairly unexciting uncommon card.
Ok, looking at the bright side: in a limited draft format, this can actually be quite strong if you have enough flyers for support. She can essentially be unblockable and unkillable if you have multiple flyers out. Her art is also gorgeous. And the ability does fairly fit the flavor from the story, since she ruled Serra's realm in Serra's absence and the angels followed her. Hits the same flavor space as her original version.
Radiant was a very minor one-story character, right? Seems fitting enough that she'd be an uncommon to me. She's lucky she got a second card!
Seems a lot stronger than Radiant, Archangel and partner is very powerful.
She only appeared in one story, but I wouldn't call her minor.
From what I remember, she was essentially the "end boss" of Urza's Legacy and particularly its accompanying book. After the time bubble catastrophes at the Tolarian Academy, after Urza went to Yavimaya to gain Multani's aid, after he defeated Kerrik/K'rrik back at the academy, after he enlisted the mother of Darigaaz in Shiv, Urza went to Serra's Realm. Serra was gone and in her absence, chief archangel Radiant ruled. But Radiant had become corrupted, along with the realm itself, by the subtle taint of Yawgmoth/Phyrexia.
Radiant was powerful and her and her angels fought Urza. This is oldwalker, "most powerful planeswalker" Urza we are talking about, and Radiant nearly killed him with a blast of magic that the elder shivan dragon sacrificed herself to block.
While vulnerable, Radiant clawed at Urza's face and ripped out his powerstone eyes. Radiant left him blind, about to die in her palace, and noticed that the powerstones fit together. She placed them together and the power ignited, vaporizing her and restoring Urza's power.

The original Radiant could one-shot with Commander damage.
This card is pretty interesting, repeatable effect means she could protect from all colors if necessary. I love that Azami-like ability that allows for such interaction and speed.
Art is pretty impressive too. That said, who is rare in these packs if the most loved legends are uncommon? Blah. These Mary Sues don't deserve it.

I am trying to like her. But 7 Mana oof... The art is beautiful and the tapping cost for the ability is flavorful but man 7 Mana. The only thing helping her is Partner.
I think she should have been coasted cheaper or had more toughness and an additional keyword.
We knew that we would be seeing legends at uncommon that are likely going to be underpowered simply because of the confines of the game, not their character, and that's fine.
However this one feels really... idk, expensive? For what it does?
Not the best but could be a cool themed build, i kinda wished she did more tho
It might not be the best deck but it would be cool to build this and go Exalted Voltron with her while adding all of the cards that create attacking angel tokens:
I find it so weird that an Serra Angel is not vigilant. Honestly with 7 cost they might have added that on top and the card would still be borderline unplayable.

I mean the artwork is beautiful and you can recognize her in the few second you look at the card. But honestly this card is only handy if you really need white in your commander deck for what reason what so ever and you could just use Rebbec at this point. Even with the minimum amount of artifacts I would consider her before Radiant. At least Rebbec is protecting some important key cards like some equipment, solring and other value engines.
For Radiant to be considered for me she had to cost like 5 at most and be a 4/4 while having flying obviously and the same tab-effect what should have been okay in limited keeping in mind how often a Serra angel was in standard legal sets as uncommon. She would exchange vigilance against a protection ability. And she would still be boring.
I don't know... there were able to make some interesting designs as uncommon legends in Dominaria. I have the feeling that Partner is costing us more interesting designs.
