You indeed did find some nice synergy, but all I'm looking at there is multiple creatures that can be sniped down and one piece of removal stopping the whole thing. Strong? Yes. As amazing as people are making it out to be and/or meta breaking? Not in the least.
I have that same kind of synergy in my R/G Omnath EDH and all I need is Omnath and a karoo, or Storm Cauldron, or Ghost Town with or without Burgeoning. I don't even use Field of the Dead. Again, your example is good, but it's not as good as it looks as there have been ways to abuse lands far easier and better for a while.
Not even close. Your example is limited by the number of land drops you have in a turn. East Kodama + Bounce land + plus anything that makes a token on landfall is infinite. Play scute, trigger Kodama putting bounceland into play which triggers itself, Kodama and Scute. Bounce the land back make your scute token, which triggers the Kodama again to put the bounce land back into play. Rinse, wash, repeat.
I don't disagree with you. I don't think it's format breaking. But It is definitely strong. Probably stronger than you are giving it credit for.
Personally I kind of want to play it in the 99 of Amareth, the Lustrous because they have their own sweet synergy. Definitely a deck that must have Top.
Ok, so you've managed to create a much more expensive earthcraft/squirrel nest combo with more pieces. I guess that's cool, but I fail to see why this is a problem. We've had commanders that make tokens and go infinite easier than this before I even played my first commander game during Alara block. Plenty of combos even create a ton of tokens that already have haste so you can win on the spot. Sure this is a combo, but it's just a bad version of what other commanders can already do.

Teach me to think they'd have thought better of that.
