As I understand it, he just attracts critters to attack him when he is "going somewhere" (attacking).
The elf is interesting for sure for multiplayer. Each opponent gets - likely - two lands, you get x = number of opponents lands. Try this in an 8-player free-for all.
It makes a lot of sense. He is bumbling around, not really paying attention. The creature strikes him, and after being distracted, chases after the person (the other player) who will sacrifice themselves to protect him. It's actually really well done, I feel? I don't really know the lore, but what I do know, at least seems to resemble this ability?
I get the whole Ice Age flavor connection, but how does Hans' ability fit his flavor?
first is the Lhurgoyf attack him and his sister (Sister didn't make it since it saids last words in flavor text) and where the flavor comes from it happened again with a Revenant
How i feel about competitive players and casual players in EDH: The competitive are german tourists, the casual are italian tourists, both in a italian beach. The italians asking themselves "why are the germans here?" make a legitimate question, the answer is because the beach is beautiful, no matter the country you came from. The italians wanting to ban the germans are dumb, because if the germans pay for their stay and follow the rules like everyone else, they have the right to be in the beach. Hovewer, if the germans started to ask themselves "why are the italians here?"... they would be dumb as hell.
Rootwater druid is funny. I don’t know if it’s good or bad since your opponents can always choose to not search and therefore the card doesn’t even guarantee you’ll get land out of it, unlike tempt with discovery.
No one commenting on the momentous lore revelation that Saffi and Hans are siblings?
He looks like an extremely chill dude and I'm so saddened by the loss he's about to experience.

Heck, every day I wake up, I don't go out and kill people - and I'm rewarded by not having legions of enemies! Amazing how that works.
Although ninjas are experts of camouflage and concealment, they are actually horrible liars. This means that no matter where you are, you can shout out, “Are there any ninjas here?” and if there’s a ninja within earshot, he’ll be compelled to respond.
Ach! Hans, run! It's the comments to this thread!

Look how calm he is, so peaceful... them you see Saffi behind him.
all started with Lhurgoyf as well
And, yes, I know the Ach, Hans! Run! saga goes all the way back to Ice Age, I played back then. Just mean the new card.
If you have his sister out, she can save him at the cot of her own life.
Ironically, one of the rather few ways to get an attacking Norin the Wary, but then he gets beat up by Hans...

I think him attacking causes a ravenous creature (like Lhurgoyf) to spring out of nowhere, unfortunately killing him.
Also, it's funny that he can summon Saffi Eriksdotter and both survive the fight.

rootweaver druid on the other hand is a wasted rare.
This art is absolutly hilarious. 10/10. That smile on his face hahahaha--so perfect.

This wasn't known? I thought they were in a short story once, long ago.
