MTG Salvation

Looking through the spoiler, my eye caught on Death's Shadow. I thought, wow! This looks like something I would have loved to play in my old suicide black deck. I started looking at some of the other spoilers, and it turned out there were a lot of other cards like this!

We got in WWK:

Thoughts?

Looks solid. As much as I like marauder over gatekeeper and bone splinters over doom blade and/or deathmark to get rid of abyssal persecutor, they may cause problems when he or ghast are not around. And for true suicide and some card advantage add some sign in bloods and drop the tendrils. so that you can play death's shadow more effectively and net in more cards while being a more dedicated suicide deck

Thanks! The only reason I didn't choose Sign in Blood is because of Baneslayer, really. Given how many decks are made viable solely based on her inclusion... Well, suddenly the four MD targeted answers to BSA feel a little thin. Ideally the deck would win long before the Walletslayer saw the field, but that usually wouldn't be the case.

If I don't need to clear Abyssal Persecutor off the field, the Bloodghasts make excellent fodder for my sac spells. Also, Deathmark wouldn't do jack to help me with everyone's favorite new demon. It is a good card post-board against both Junk and Jund, but something I would take Smother out for, not Bone Splinters

With so very few sources of self-damage, how do you propose to regularly get Death's Shadow to be a reasonable size?

If I were making suicide black with Death's Shadow, I'd probably use Lacerators, Sign, Fetches, and Ad with cheap one drops. Throw in a bit of life gain (Shadowfeed, Feast of Blood, etc.) and it should be fine.
