so...i'd need 5 cards out of 7 lol. 8 if i'm on the draw. its not as hard as it seems. U,R,W isnt that hard either lol. Seachrome, Island, Sulfur? sure, its a pretty good hand, but it IS doable more times than you'd think.
as for dumping them, just dump them with Faithless Looting, simple. also, board wipes are generally sorcery's and dont hit gideon when he swings...this does. it leaves a lot open, because realistically you'd need 5 mana open, and if your playing control, that isnt a problem generally. so...wipe the board, next turn lay a titan.
what i pointed out is just ONE thing that can be done. Miracles are pretty good...especially if you build around them right. thats all
I built a U/R miracle deck myself that works just like this one. I don't always have the Snapcaster, Noxious, Thuderous Wrath combo but maybe 7 out of 10 times it's easy to pull off. And if I don't, then I have other answers to hold them off until I can pull it out. Yeah it's not completely consistent but it is really fun to play.
There are times when people top-decking a miracle is going to make you mutter to yourself, but that's true of any strong card that turns up at the right time.
My opponent played Griselbrand against me in one of the prereleases with me on 0 cards in hand. I top decked Avacyn. Would this have been any more annoying had I topped Bonfire or Terminus instead?
There will be annoying moments, but that's magic. Most of them need to be luckboxed at very specific times and can generally be played around to some extent if it's really that board destroying.
