MTG Salvation

I am in love with Throes of Chaos. It's repeatable, chaotic card advantage, pulling random cards from your deck and dropping them right into the fray. My only issue is... where does it belong? What cool things can I do with it? I currently have a Yidris "Chaos, Wheels, and Graveyard" deck where this will likely find a home.
What will you do with it? Where does it belong? The most boring answers are "adds to storm count".

I'm building a low-budget The First Sliver commander deck that I will probably put that in.

I've been having decent results testing it as a 1-of in Modern Jund--it's felt better than a bunch of the other flex slot cards I've tried in it, and it's not card disadvantage, unlike the seemingly similar and also-in-Modern Horizons Tectonic Reformation. Jund's cards are often powerful and versatile enough that Throes doesn't feel like a waste of a turn. Admittedly, the current Modern meta is often so fast that I can often only cast Throes once all game, but I often cast it when none of the cards in my hand would do a better job (which is shockingly often).

Slivers seems like a decent deck to throw it in. Just keep pulling useful slivers from your deck with it.

I don't play modern really, but I could see where it would be good of as a 1-of.

In EDH, In Yidris, I am hoping to hit just random stuff like: Cultivate, Magus of the Wheel, Last One Standing, and Sultai Charm. Feels like a lot of value, especially considering you won't cast it when you think it will whiff on something you don't want to cast.
