You can name any card you want, including ____. I knew a guy that liked to lose sanctioned tournaments just to drop his constructed rating, so he'd played Spoils of the Vault naming Question Elemental to try and lose in the first turn.
DoN just says name a card, not name a card playable in sanctioned Magic.
No, naming _____ will not allow you to counter morphs. Morphs have no name, but _____ has the name "_____". -Jack
1. I'm not sure, but I doubt it. I believe Un-sets are not addressed at all in the Comp Rules, and have no impact on competitive magic. It's the same reason why you can't use Water Gun Balloon Game to give your creatures protection from pink with Akroma's Blessing.
Just as cards that have an effect based on "shares a color" don't work with colorless objects like lands and artifacts, cards that have an effect based on "has the same name" don't work with objects that have no name. Nothing that lacks a name can ever have the same name as something, even if you had a Declaration of Naught in play with no chosen name.

lmao@ question elemental. but why did we want to drop his rating? to play against noobs?
In what universe? If you build a deck like that, and ever draw that hand, I will personally come to wherever you live, perform complicated acts of awestruck *********, then disembowel myself to escape the world that allowed something like to to occur and validate you.

1. In a sanctioned tournament, can you name an Unglued/Unhinged card when instructed to name a card?
2. If so, suppose you play Declaration of Naught and name _____. Can you then use Declaration's ability to counter a morph?
