I looked through the comprehensive rules on this one, but couldn't find a clear answer.
The other night, I had a game going with two of my decks - I was using a red/black Goblin deck that uses Boggart Harbinger and Boggart Mob to pull necessary goblin cards to the top of my deck, while also using Door of Destinies (from Morningtide) to generate tokens that make the 1/1's put into play by Boggart Mob much more effective.
For those unfamiliar with Door, here's what it is:
Door of Destinies (4)
Artifact MOR - R
As ~ comes into play, choose a creature type.
Whenever you play a spell of that type,
put a charge counter on ~.
Creatures you control of that type get +1/+1
for each charge counter on ~.
So my question is this: When I use Boggart Mob to bounce out either a Boggart Harbinger or, as I do later on, existing Boggart Mob's (which keeps tossing other Boggart Mob's into play and, in turn, tossing Boggart Harbinger in and out of play like crazy), does the goblin card returning to play trigger Door of Destinies' effect?

The Door will only trigger when you play a spell of the chosen creature type. "Playing" means you pay the costs and put it on the stack. Simply coming into play (like what happens to a championed creature when the champion leaves play) will not do it.
So, you will actually have to play new goblin spells to get more charge counters on your door. Simply bouncing Boggart Mobs around with the Champion ability will not do it.
Note: Boggart Harbinger gets the goblin card on top of your library. So, when you draw the card and play it (pay costs and put it on the stack), the Door will trigger and you will get another charge counter.

See, that's what I thought, but I couldn't find anything that specifically said that in the part about playing spells. I still wanted to check though, just to be sure because, you know, being able to pump your goblins 3-4 times as you champion multiple creatures at once would be a pretty insane combo.

I don't care if I was framed for murder if I only got a warning I would let it go.
Oops... sorry. Hope I didn't spoil anything.
