Yes. When Keldon Marauders comes into play, both the Battle Axe and Cream of the Crop trigger. Since you control both abilities, you control how they go on the stack. If you stack it so that Obsidian Battle Axe resolves first, your Marauders will become a 5/4. (or a 7/6!) Then, when Cream of the Crop resolves, it sees that your Marauders has power 5, so you can look at the top 5 cards.

I thinkhe was speculating that there could be 2 axes down, which would make them 7/6
2 axes = +4/+2 ontop of the 3/3 body makes it a 7 / 5. So yes he was most likely thinking of the morph dude since the math works out like that, even though you don't get a free attach unless you play the morph dude face up

They'd just be 5/4; I think you're thinking of Gathan Raiders rather than Keldon Marauders.
