Okay, Ive been dinking around with a deck based around Bazaar Trader, and I was wondering if I could "donate" the Ball Lightning in response to his sacrifice trigger. If so, would he still be sacrificed (being as I dot control him anymore)?

My understanding is that, regardless of which player is controlling it, Ball lightning must be sacrificed at the end of the turn. So, yes, tossing it to your opponent won't keep it from being sacrificed. Why you'd want to do that i have no clue, but to my knowledge that's the answer.
Hmm, I'm wondering why it wont work. I thought that if I controlled ball lightning, then I would have to sac it. Since its not under my control anymore when the ability resolves, I can't sac it. Im not saying it would never be sacrificed, just like until the next players end step (As to why this is useful, I'm thinking for teams). I guess my question is "Is it still sacrificed when I don't control it, and why/why not?"
But whoever you donate it to will have to sac it at your end of turn just like you would.
But it only triggers at the beginning of the end step, which happens once per turn. If you enter the end step, the ability triggers, and then if you donate it in response, you are no longer able to sacrifice it. The sacrifice ability wont trigger again, as it will no longer be the beginning of the end step. It will live until the end of the next turn.

sure. the next problem is, why would you want to give your opponent a ball lightning.

This makes no sense... Ball Lightning Triggers at the beginning of THE end step, not the beginning of "your" end step. Regardless of who controls him come the beginning of the end step, he will be sacrificed. Activating Bazaar Trader in response to the trigger will only briefly donate the Ball Lightning to whomever you choose before the trigger resolves and it is sacrificed.
EDIT: Nevermind, I understand what you are saying. The trigger goes on the stack at the beginning of the end step saying YOU sacrifice Ball Lightning, and then you donate it to your opponent or whomever. Then the trigger resolves and YOU don't have a Ball Lightning to sacrifice, so it stays until the next "beginning of the end step" when it triggers for your opponent to sacrifice.

Nope. You control the triggered ability, so you must sacrifice the Ball Lightning. However, by definition, you can only sacrifice a permanent you control. So the Lightning lives until its new controller's end step.
701.13a To sacrifice a permanent, its controller moves it from the battlefield directly to its owner's graveyard. A player can't sacrifice something that isn't a permanent, or something that's a permanent he or she doesn't control. Sacrificing a permanent doesn't destroy it, so regeneration or other effects that replace destruction can't affect this action.
@detail251 You dont have to donate it to your oppoent. The card says "Target player". I'm thinking a teammate. In fact, If you first donate a secound Bazzar trader, you couldnt keep evading the sacrifice by bouncing it back and forth.
omg ththing thats the most hilarious thing ive heard all day. So going in my 2HG RDW decks. I looked at the rules and i agree you can not sacrifise so it dose not die. a 6/1 trample haste that never die EPIC.

It still dies. It just does so at the end of its controller's next turn. The ability will trigger at the beginning of each one of its controller's end steps.

i know but my ally could also have a bazzar trader and we could play tennis with the ball lightning.
