One of the new double faced card rulings is that both faces now have the same converted mana cost. Does this at all change the mana cost of a transformed DFC, in regards to devotion? For example, a face-up Arlinn Kord is a red and green planeswalker with CMC 4 that provides 1 devotion to green and 1 devotion to red. My guess is that Arlinn, Embraced by the Moon is a red and green planeswalker with CMC 4 that provides no devotion to any color. Is this correct?
It really isn't. In fact, it's more intuitive.
Why can my 8 mana creature get exiled by a -0 from Ugin the Spirit Dragon just because it transformed?
Now it can't.
I still say it'd be simpler to just give the back side its own mana cost though.
I think that would create even more rules complications which may lead to more confusing lines of questions, perhaps the least of which would be "if both sides have a mana cost, why can I not just cast the flipped side?"

It has no mana cost, but a converted mana cost of 4. Devotion to any color is 0. Yes, this is weird.
