When I learned the rules about four years ago, abilities were objects that did not have colour. I assume that still is the case now.
So, suppose a red enchantment activates one of its activated abilities to deal damage to a Knight of Grace; now there is an ability on the stack, whose source is red. I then cast an instant that changes the colour of that enchantment to black. Is the ability from the (previously red) enchantment now an ability from a black source, or a red source? (And any supporting quotations from the comprehensive rules will be appreciated).

Raging Goblin He raged at the world, at his family, at his life. But mostly he just raged.
Under C.R. 112.7a, "[o]nce activated ..., an ability exists on the stack independently of its source". And the activated ability on the stack "has the text of the ability that created it, and no other characteristics" (C.R. 602.2a; see also this thread). However, although the ability itself has no color, it can still be influenced by its source's color.
Hexproof from black is a novel form of hexproof; the game will check the color of the source (not the color of the ability) at the moment Goblin Bombardment's ability would resolve to determine whether it can target Knight of Grace (C.R. 702.11d, 608.2b; a similar example for white is Raiding Party [C.R. 108.1]). Note that reminder text "has no game function", so is not to be taken rigorously (C.R. 207.2, 207.2a).
EDIT (Apr. 27): Edited because Dominaria is now released.
EDIT (Sep. 29, 2018): Correct quotation; correction in first paragraph.
EDIT (Feb. 24, 2019): Added rule citation.
