Chandra, Torch of Defiance - Oops! All Chandras.
Prime Speaker Zegana - Draw for Power.
Pir & Toothy - Counterpalooza.
Arcades, the Strategist - Another Brick in the Wall.
Zacama, Primal Calamity - Calamity of Double Mana.
Edgar Markov - Vampires Don't Die.
Child of Alara - Dreamcrusher.
How many of each do you think will be given out? iirc Griselbrand was a GP promo and was printed to oblivion, do you think the same will be the case for Mtavault? And how many people get into RPTQs? ie will this promo budge the price of Noble Hierarch at all?
It's likely to slash Mutavault's price, but not Noble Hierarch's. This year's RPTQ promo is Emrakul 1.0 and that one is currently going for well above the normal Emrakul 1.0's price so...

This thread is full of idiots... Lightning Bolt is NOT being reprinted.
Many times has a writer in Wizards said so, because of the plain and simple fact that it's too powerful for what it costs. x/3 creatures shouldn't be able to die at instant speed for one mana without a signifigant drawback. (like PTE giving you a land)
I absolutely guarantee that LB will not be printed in M10, and you can quote me on that.
So how do I get my hands on these? (Besides the obvious answers of RPTQ and GP) will they be available as entry bonuses that I can 0-1 drop with a deck assembled from IXALAN chaff? I doubt they'd make it a format that caters to my predominantly casual/kitchen table/EDH/limited preferences, or do they? Mostly I want that Mutavault for my 5cc Ur-Dragon Changeling EDH deck without paying through the nose for it.
I'm glad they pick a traditional art style for the new Noble Hierarch.
what do you mean by this?
doesn't look like a 'traditional art style' to me.
i mean it looks "good", not as dynamic as the original. but hey. if you like it you like it, i'm not here to talk about that. I want to know what you meant.

I was about to say the same thing. She's totally not showing enough skin to be more like old wizards. Case in point...
1. (Ravnica Allegiance): You can't keep a good esper control deck down... Or Wilderness Reclamation... or Gates...
2. (War of the Spark): Guys, I know what we need! We need a cycle of really idiotic flavor text victory cards! Jace's Triumph...
3. (War of the Spark): Lets make the format with control have even more control!

Haha. Ah but then that's content not style you're referring to.
I'm just confused by what the other poster even meant lol. It's equivalent to looking at a new SUV from volkswagon and being all "I like how they did it in a traditional style" lol.
Is your traditional style "digital painting from five years ago"?

More referring to the mood it gives out. It's not dramatic, it's not martial, or try to impose an emotion onto the onlooker, and the objects/characters in the picture isn't "sharp" or "edgy". This is more common in the older sets (especially ones with Rebecca Guay) than in modern ones, which I personally prefer.
Ooh, Mutavault! Any shot in the dark for what it will push prices to? I am happy with any English version, but I routinely kick myself for not already owning a set.

Project Booster Fun makes it less fun to open a booster.
Looking at the schedule, there are about 7 2018 GPs I could get to within reason, and considering how they hand those out at side events, I'll walk away with about 400 playsets of them by year's end. Which is great because I somehow only managed to open 3 from M14.
So how do I get my hands on these? (Besides the obvious answers of RPTQ and GP) will they be available as entry bonuses that I can 0-1 drop with a deck assembled from IXALAN chaff? Try eBay or TCGPlayer, and try after June. The RPTQ promos are never cheap, but the GP promos are given out like candy. It'll be cheaper to pick one up on the secondary market than to pay the GP entry fee and then drop. The cost ratio is 5:1.

GP promos from years past (including popular, playable cards like Griselbrand and Stoneforge Mystic) have typically ended up in the $10-$15 range after the dust settles.
