Okay, so let me preface this by saying that I really don't want to see anything Eldrazi-related in SOI, and hope that I'm making something out of nothing. That said, I noticed this (see attachment) in the Mothership today. It looks to me like a collar of Avacyn on one side, but the other side looks very much like one of the Kozilek brood's "crown" shapes. In addition, part of Kozilek's role as "Titan of Distortion" involves madness and betrayal, and the Madness mechanic returns in SOI. Basically the 'rest' of Kozilek could be here (if the Gatewatch 'cut off the hand'), but I don't want to believe that.
I'll belive the alternative option that it's just a flag or something. Thoughts?
Well, if the Gatewatch is correct--and Ugin thinks they are--they outright killed Ulamog and Kozilek, so there should be nothing left of the Titan of Distortion.
I will say, though, that I see a Dragon in that art.
Yeah, that just looks like a messed up Heron of Avacyn. Like the one from the trailer.
???
I see nothing that looks like a heron in that art, and I see real herons semi-regularly. Did you mean collar? I'd agree then
It seems that I remembered something very poorly. For some reason I thought that the collar was also referred to as a heron, in a sort of heraldic sense. Many apologies. Yes, I meant the collar.
Not sure if this is true, but what I heard was that because BFZ block was initially designed as a three block set, you'd have Ulamog in set one (BFZ), Kozilek in set two (OGW) and Emrakul in the last set, which would become SOI when they changed to the Two Block Paradigm. There is also some flavour text that was shown today that suggests that not only has Avacyn gone mad, but that there is more to the story than just that... if Emrakul is on Innistrad, her influence could explain Avacyn going cuckoo for cocoa puffs.

I was aware of this theory, but it was more of a "what if Kozi's here too?" idea :3
I do not want to believe in Kozi on Innistrad so I was hoping people would tell me it's ridiculous idea!

From what MaRo has said (and that has to be taken with a grain of salt because it's not like he would spoil it), the switch happened pretty early in the process, before they'd even started designing anything for the third set, up to and including a name. So, it seems unlikely that SOI has any holdovers from BFZ block.
That, however, doesn't preclude an Emrakul showing up.
