I believe that if Dwarves aren't in Kaladesh, they will surely have a place in Kaldheim. Which if they return to a set after Kaladesh, I could see Kaldheim as being the next possibility.
Sorry, but I'm with EbonClaw on that one. I'd be happy if they gave us more Unicorns.
Unicorns however are not short, beardy men and thus not the topic of this discussion.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.

Lathnu, City at the Top of the World
Lathnu is a remote settlement in the far north perched high on the Devra Cliffs; it can only be reached via vertical rail track, or a very long and strenuous climb. Lathnu's economy is based around mining and smelting the metals found in the mountains, which inventors throughout Kaladesh depend on to build their wondrous devices.
Remote settlement? Economy of mining and smelting metals? In the mountains?
Yeah, Dwarves are all but confirmed already. What a lovely day for Dwarves lovers!
You guys have it all wrong. Dwarves ride Ponies!!! See Dwarven Pony
And not just any Ponies, carnivorous Ponies who can count! That is certainly a better option than Unicorns.
So.... perfectly normal ponies then?
(Let me explain, pretty much all modern equines are intelligent enough to count smaller numbers (less than ten), and have been observed to kill and eat small animals in areas where minerals such as calcium and other minerals vital for bone growth are scarce.)

It's about time for the reserved list to die, for the sake of Vintage and Legacy (And Commander).

Today Saheeli signed an autograph for a dwarf-child in the story. Dwarves are entirely confirmed.
Magic currently has precisely the right amount of unicorns.

How about unicorn-riding dwarves?
Hard to tell, without any (other) humans for reference. But one can always hope!

Dwarves or not, but they look like they're from my country.
It does to me, they have quite the stocky build compared to humans.

For those wondering what the Gremlins mentioned in today's story look like:

They might be the new Atog replacement Maro wrote about some time ago.
I was expecting a lot of things. Tapir lizard was not one of them.
Holy carp! It's a dream eater!
