They could keyword the instance/sorcery ability that’s “prowess light” or “drake ability ” as the overlap. Keeping what we like about it but limiting the creatures power.
How about "If a blocker would deal combat damage to this creature, you may reassign that damage to another of its blockers"? Sort of a deadly dodging mechanic, where the UR creature tricks its blockers into hitting each other. Double block at your own peril! Would work pretty well with Menace too, since Menace requires double blocking.

MTGS Wikia Article about "New World Order"
Every time I read a comment about "Well if this card had card draw/trample/haste/indestructible/hexproof/life gain...", I think "You're missing the point." They're armchair developer comments that fail to take into account the card's role in the greater Limited and Standard environment. No, it may not be as good as whatever card you're comparing it to. There's a reason for that. Not every burn spell is Lightning Bolt, nor does it need to be or should be.
PSA to everyone who keeps forgetting about the Reserved List:
You're on a website dedicated to talking about MtG. You're only a few keystrokes away from finding out what cards are on the Reserved List. You're also only a few keystrokes away from finding out why some cards on the Reserved List got foil printings in FtV, as Judge promos, or whatnot, as well as why that won't happen again. Stop doing this.
I'd bet they will end up with "an instant & sorceries only Prowess": easy to understand, quite easy to implement in many worlds without strangely messing up with artifact or enchantment themes or triggering too easily in every environment. There's no way an overlapping UR keyword isn't connected to spells.
I liked Prowess more than just instants and sorceries. I liked the option of building a UR deck with artifacts or enchantments. UR Prowess would be perfect for, say, a return to Theros where the heavier enchantment theme allows UR the opportunity to branch out beyond "instants and sorceries". It's not like GW's theme is always +1/+1 counters or always creature tokens.

I'm not sold on flash as a UB keyword. I get the flavor, but it feels like on black it'll only ever go on dudes with cloaks holding knives, and I don't really like the idea of a "tribe"-only mechanic. Then again, I guess you could make the same argument about lifelink and vampires in black.
I know there's already a huge thread on coming up with a UB keyword (longtime lurker), but did anyone ever suggest a delve version of Dralnu, Lich Lord? Something like (If damage would be dealt to this creature, you may exile that many cards from your graveyard instead.)?
For a UR keyword, what about a combat version of the Merfolk Trickster ability? Like (Creatures blocking or blocked by this creature lose all abilities until end of combat/turn.)?
I guess one problem with that is you'd either have to make it self referential (...lose all abilities except [name of this keyword]) or just state in the rules that if two creatures with that ability were in combat with each other, both of them would lose all their abilities.
Black can use Flash in a variety of ways. Black Ambush Viper. A black Spirit startling non-Spirit creatures with its scream, causing them to get -N/-N until end of turn. Zombie lunging at you from out of a closet. Not to mention Flash works well with Flying and Deathtouch. Yeah, it'll probably most often go on cloak-and-dagger assassin types. But how many nonhumanoid creatures have First strike, compared to the vast number of Knights, Soldiers, and Warriors? And Lifelink also appears on Bats, Insects, and Leeches. Vampires aren't the only bloodsuckers in black's arsenal.

Raid's more BR than UB. And it's an ability word. We're looking for keywords, with reminder text.

Raid seems to fit the UB mantra--I distracted you with an aggressive act. Now I get to do funky ***** afterwards. At least if you ask me. Morbid feels like something BG though I could see it in U as a secondary colour. But if we're being picky on that, then maybe...
Transmute isn't necessarily broken, it just leads to a lot of repetitive play and shuffling, both of which R&D wants to minimize. And it doesn't meet the criteria of a creature keyword that could go on a cycle.
When Maro talks about each color's evergreen keyword, they want something they can put on stuff like a cycle of hybrid common creatures, or a cycle of big, splashy monocolor creatures like the Gearhulks and Titans. Said keywords need to be able to interact with combat in some fashion.
WU Flying UB Flash, attempted with Skulk, formerly Landwalk (Islandwalk and Swampwalk were by far the most common landwalk abilities, playing into UB's sneaky nature and penchant for turning opponents' lands into Islands or Swamps) BR Menace, formerly Haste, formerly Intimidate RG Trample, Reach, Haste GW Vigilance, Indestructible WB Lifelink, First strike (for Knights) UR Formerly Prowess BG Deathtouch, Indestructible, formerly Regeneration RW First strike, Double strike GU Hexproof, Flash

I think it's pretty well established within Magic that "summoning" spells are very different from "arcane" magic like conjuring lightning or enchanting things.
This fits the classic wizard archetype quite well as they are thought of far more as being spellslingers and enchanters than summoners.
Not relaly arguing for or against prowess being evergreen, just vouching for the high fantasy flavor of prowess.
Show me examples in classical world mythology where distinctions like this care that a character/creature becomes excitable with nonsummoning magic, than I’ll soften my stance that prowess never made sense to be an evergreen ability in a game called Magic the Gathering, that you know draws from world mythology.
Magic has little to do with world mythology these days, guy. Just like D&D wizards are vastly more godlike than most actual gods in our mythology, magic in Magic is a lot more overt and powerful than anything we have in mythology. "Prowess" being an ability whereupon the creature in question powers up by focusing magic into itself, much like chi or simply super-charging via magic, is so easily explained this is a non-argument. All the actual source material that inspires Magic, which is far, far more than just mythology, has loads of examples.

Do y'all think a Nefarious Lich ability for damage that creature receives could work for a UB keyword, or would that be too easy to abuse?
Another question: Is it weird that WU's only one in common is flying, since every color gets that to some extent? Like should they have another combat relevant keyword too?
...Part of me thinks Flash would work really well for that lol
I also lowkey love Unearth as the UR keyword even though it doesn't make sense beyond flashback for creatures.

Unearth?
Delve?
Transmute? That's all I got for now, but of those I'd say Delve and/or maybe Unearth. Still definitely would consider Raid, even if it is an ability workd.
We can leave out Transmute because borken.
