Hi so I got an idea for a deck but I was told you can only cast adventures once so I had a think and though that if I cast an adventure then recast it for it’s creature cost to bring it into play then used something to bring it back to my hand, would I then be able to replay the card and use its adventure again and again?
Ps sorry not up to scratch with mtg terms and lingo! New player!
Yes. If the card returns to your hand, you can recast its adventure part.
400.7. An object that moves from one zone to another becomes a new object with no memory of, or relation to, its previous existence. (…)
Just to clarify for the original poster. They mentioned they're not up on Magic terminology.
For the sake of brevity, there are seven relevant zones to concern yourself with (there are others I'm not mentioning) that consist of the library, hand, battlefield, graveyard, stack, exile, and command.
If you don't know what they are, that's OK. The point is, any time a card that is in any of the other zones moves into your hand, you can cast the card again. In this case, the Adventure.
