There are two valueable cards: Brimaz and Courser and Courser already got reprinted two times in Clash Packs.
Brimaz has small potential to grow as he only sees minimal play. But maybe he can attract some interest because he is a legendary cat.
I wouldn't invest in this set, but if you force me at gunpoint to spend my money on it, I'd probably buy the Temples and Xenagos.

GP Richmond is probably what you're referring to. Modern getting that kind of a showcase on the heels of the original Modern Masters lead to a lot of moderns staples being bought up. As the value of modern staples went up, people turned their modern cards into legacy cards and hence spikes in the dual lands, and things like Dark Depths.
