Tooth and Nail seems to be on the way up. Any idea what is driving this?
Auto-include in any green based EDH deck, no reprint since MM1. It was only a matter of time. I think the window to buy into MM15 for "cheap" is rapidly closing/closed.
As for a BUG Infect deck, that has been around for a few years at least. I've tried to make Crusader work in the past but he's just too slow, protection be damned. Maybe things have changed since you can virtually one shot kill with him + Become Immense, but I dunno.

The window to buy into MM15 has already closed for the majority of the cards. There may be a few left, such as Splinter Twin, Leyline of Sanctity, Primeval Titan, and a few others that are still at their lowest levels but those will not last long. To be specific, Karn has increased to approximately $50, when he was in the low $30's just last week. Spellskite has also now increased to $30.
Marsh Flats is on the move gaining roughly $5-6 to $42 in the past few days. This without a doubt has to do with the rising popularity of BW Eldrazi Processors.
Inquisition of Kozilek is drying up - people are asking north of $30 most places. If you want a set and have an out-of-the-way source and can get them for the old $14, now is your chance.
The release of the full OGW spoiler has confirmed they aren't in, hence the rush.
This is getting very out of hand now...Inquisition of Kozilek from ROE has a few from $30-40 and the rest in the $50's and up. The modern event deck printing only has four copies left at $25, $40, $55 and $60 on TCG. Starcity and Channelfireball have no copies.
Holy crap. Wizards is going to HAVE to do something to rein these prices in. Something better than "here's a limited quantity Modern reprint set with $10 boosters, $200 24 pack boxes filled with 90% bulk rares and overpriced casual cards."
It's utter insanity that a modern era uncommon that has even had a resupply is rivaling the price of DUAL LANDS. I might take the Inquisiton out of my Tiny Headers deck and sell it off to get some Gideons or something. :/

Why? Sounds like they have a model that works for them and people are lining up for more.

I'd imagine because Modern prices are getting so out of control that people aren't going to be able to afford to play it. New players have virtually no chance of getting into Modern right now unless they have a ton of cash to throw around. Every viable Modern deck I can think of has at least one card (lucky if it's just one) that costs an arm and a leg. I built mono U tron a while back just because it was the only Modern deck I could afford to make and I had most of the cards for it already. I think it cost me around $9 for the Oblivion Stone I didn't have and another $4 for a Sundering Titan and a Mindslaver. That deck was very cheap at the time. But now even building that deck would be pretty darn costly.
If Wizards wants to let Modern become the next Legacy in order to pander to people who think the game is an investment, then whatever. I'll just stick to EDH.
Looks like Inquisition of Kozilek has settled at about $25 per for NM copies for the time being (more than one store has restocked at that price from the looks of it). And while $25 might certainly seem insane for a modern legal uncommon, it should be noted that one can still find the modern event decks that the cards come in for around $80 still currently (which considering what you get is actually a pretty decent deal from a value standpoint). Spikes like this happen, and more often than not eventually supply catches up to demand and prices will slowly drift back down. I expect we will see it settle back down to at least $20, but beyond that it will just depend upon how many are willing to offload their existing copies at that price or lower to determine if the price could eventually settle further. The trouble with inquisition was that it was printed in Rise of the Eldrazi, which while being a decent and fun set, also was a third set in that block and thus not opened as much. The reprinting in the modern event deck, which did add a significant amount of supply to the market has at least kept the price somewhat reasonable (before today anyway). Its simply a matter of it being a really good card with demand from all formats its legal in (primarily modern/legacy) and cards like that (Even uncommons) can tend to fetch decently high prices.
I would say there is a very high likelihood that we will see it reprinted again in the next modern masters set, or possibly some other supplemental product in the meantime.

Unfortunately for a lot of folks, they cater to those who can afford the hobby and not those who can't. That's how everything is and I just choose not to play money formats.
It's not an EDH staple, so it won't be in the Commander decks, and besides, Wizards doesn't usually put $30 cards in those anyways (Wurmcoil was close, but at least that's an EDH staple). It likely won't be in the next Modern Event deck, because it was just in the LAST Modern Event Deck. That leaves the next likely reprint in the next Modern Masters, which if history serves means summer of 2017, a good 18 months away. If I remember correctly, Lorwyn Thoughtseize was nearing $50 before the reprint (Lorwyn version having currently settled at $30). No one can predict WOTC, but logic points to no reprint in the foreseeable future, and could IoK could climb to $40-45 over the next year?
As an aside, remember how much of a dud the Modern Event Deck was? $75 MSRP, a month after release you could find them online for $40-$50 apiece. I got mine for $35 at a Black Friday sale.
-IoK $25 x2 = $50
-Sword of F&F = $14
-Elspeth, Knight = $13
-PtE $7 x3 = $21
-Relic $5 x3 = $15
-Isolated Chapel $2.75 x4 = $11
-City of Brass $2.75 x2 = $5.50

I disagree. Wizards made a modern event deck at a reasonable price for players to get into modern. Most people just whined about how it didn't have marsh flats or "didn't have enough value" in it. 3 paths, 2 inquisition, a sword, elspeth ke, 3 relics. Looks pretty good now. People want to have their cake and eat it too, but that's not the way things work.
Slightly off topic, but will there be a Modern Event Deck released this year?

-IoK $25 x2 = $50 (same as ebay)
-Sword of F&F = $14 ($11 on ebay)
-Elspeth, Knight = $13 ($7.50 on ebay w/emblem)
-PtE $7 x3 = $21 ($6.50 x 3 = $19.50 on ebay)
-Relic $5 x3 = $15 ($3 x 3 = $9 on ebay)
-Isolated Chapel $2.75 x4 = $11 ($1.50 x 4 = $6 on ebay)
-City of Brass $2.75 x2 = $5.50 ($2 x 2 = $4 on ebay)
-Caves of Koilos: (.75 x 4 = $3 on ebay)
-Honor of the Pure: (.75 x 3 = $2.25 on ebay)
-Dismember: (.75 x 2 = $1.50 on ebay)
-Vault of the Archangel: ($1.25 on ebay)
-Windbrisk Heights: (.75 x 4 = $3 on ebay)
-Kataki War's Wage: (.50 x 3 = $1.50 on ebay)
All prices are TCPG Low. That's $130 right there.
($120 ebay value with reasonable ability to sell not counting the box/sleeves/die)
I added the prices above in ( ) to account for what they can be reasonably sold for on ebay in the form of playsets (basically if you bought multiples with the intent to re-sell them as playsets).
Before the increase these box sets were selling well at $70 each. After the spike anything under $80 sold out immediately, and many of the $80 ones by now have sold out leaving just a few under $90 available now. Funny how these were viewed as such a bad value when they came out, and now are selling for above MSRP. And as someone mentioned, they were available for $40-$50 each for a while, and were a good value there to break apart the cards to sell as singles, and as the cards in them have slowly increased, so has the price up until the larger spike we just saw today that went along with the increase in inquisitions.

FNM foil pretty much is the only remaining option.
I would welcome a FNM foil. Serum Visions was a huge success, nearly doubling local FNM attendance for that month at my LGS. I was watching trading yesterday and kids were swearing up and down that IoK was only $8/each. I tried to tell them it was higher but they all clamored about how they were only $8. Oh well, should have stepped in and traded for all of them.
I have this feeling All is Dust is about to double in price as well.

Is Ghost Quarter something that should be looked at? It sees play as multiples in many different modern decks. In the recent SCG Modern event alone, it saw play in 4 different decks that were in the top 8.

I would likely say no. It has been reprinted so many times that I feel it would be unlikely to move much even with an increase in demand. Originally printed in Dissension, then reprinted in Innistrad, and then in three supplemental products (Commander 2014/2015) and Modern Event deck. What could increase however, would be the foils. Those only have the original Dissension printings, and the more recent Innistrad printings.
Yup, I just checked ebay, and saw the same, the sold history shows all of the reasonably priced buy it nows were bought out this evening. Only a few foreign and foil versions left to speak of there now.
For IoK, since we can be relatively sure there won't be a Modern Event Deck 2 or MM16 this year as they would have announced one already. The Duel Deck is possible and probable since it wasn't more desirable than Remand or Path to Exile until now, long after it's been finished and most probably on the printers already.
Auriok Champion, however, has just priced anyone new away from BW Tokens/Soul Sisters.
Are there even any competitive budget decks anymore? It feels they're being headhunted and replaced with false gold idols.

Meh, I don't even care anymore. I think this activity is really horrible for Modern but I don't care about the health of the format. I just like sitting back and selling off cards as they spike.

Thinking it's because of the interactions with the Eldrazi - counter something for cheap, then get an exiled card trigger.
I have a deck that is all about this interaction; just feel like a fool for overlooking this potential.
