Hello everyone, i'm finally set on selling my dual lands collection but i just never sold or bought a single card online so i'm looking for advice
I had them for more than 20 years, traded for most of them around 97-99 and got a few in packs
But nowadays i only play very little and only on Arena so i guess it's time to let go of my little treasure and make some money
The 40 lands are from these sets :
23 from Revised
12 french white border
5 french black border
Do you think it's possible to sell them all in one batch ?
Or maybe it's best in packs of 4 (x10 types) or in packs of 10 (4 packs with one land each) ?
And more importantly ... at what price and on which site ?
Without much of a presence online it's going to be tough to sell them unless you take too little for them. If you have some ebay references it could help. If you live in an area that gets bigger Magic events or can travel to one, it might be the best place to sell them. If not, I'd say ebay or possibly on some facebook for sale group.
I think in person will probably be your best bet, you just have to find a way to get people to know they are for sale.
I would sell all 40 at once if possible. If not you will be stuck with Taigas and Plateaus for a while. If you do break them up, best way would be sell playsets.

Quickest, easiest, and most secure way? Consign them to an eBay power seller like PWCC, Probstein, or Sean Bassisk. You would be looking at paying 7%-9% as a commission after fees, but you will be guaranteed to get paid and fast. These guys mostly move sports memorabilia but likely wouldn’t turn down a lot like this. If you would like their contact info feel free to PM me.
Sorry if I'm late to the party (this advice can only help if you haven't sold them):
Drop $50 on cards that are popular in Standard. Sell those cards on EBay, getting some positive feedback (no said this would be easy). You'll have some feedback as a reference. If the $50 in cards isn't enough, repeat the process until you have enough that you feel adequate and trusted.
Now this is where you'll be going against your advice because selling 40 duals is a very big amount for anyone to spend at once. You might (and should) maximize the profits by selling play-sets of 4 on EBay. Sure, that's 10 packages instead of one. BUT I think it gives better odds of them selling and better odds of getting as close to market value as you can [a store, online or IRL will give anywhere from 50% to 70% of market value; selling apps like OfferUp and LetGo will mostly be low ballers (this includes FB marketplace and Craigslist)].
Another option that might work in your best interest is some of the "high end" selling groups on Facebook.
Agree with Stoogeslap here - it is worth the investment even though even though it'll slow your process down during a period of uncertainty with the reserved list. You are also competing with big stores where buy lists have plummeted for these duals, so it's a hard market right now. Another investment is a very good scanner - show up close scans front and back on ebay to dispel fears of counterfeit cards.
Reach out to someone like Daniel Chang (Vintage Magic) for consignment. He may even offer to buy them outright.
I sold a few of my power 9 cards this way,and didnt worry about whether the buyer would mess with me or not.
Hassle free, and I'd say about break even if not better as much as the amount of time it takes to sell and establish a reputation on ebay, and sweat bullets.

And what about Cardmarket ? it seems quite secure

Making an average between market and buylist prices on tcgplayer i ended up with a total of 9300$, starting from there i don't really what i can hope
