City of Traitors just hit $60 on SCG. I see no reason why this won't be a $80-$100 card by the end of the year, seeing as it is a powerful Exodus rare that sees play in Legacy.
If imperial painter does pick up in popularity, city of traitors will follow. What I would find interesting is what would happen to imperial recruiter's price if imperial painter does pick up. Right now auctions are ending at around 60-70 on eBay, wonder if it would go up from that at all.
Stifle is definitely a card to watch, I concur. It's creeping upward slowly and scourge wasn't opened that much since it was the 3rd set of a block from way way back.

"Yawgmoth," Freyalise whispered as she set the bomb, "now you will pay for your treachery."
I was just at GP: Oakland and both of these cards seemed priced pretty high, misdirections were being sold at TCG mid prices or higher, storms were 15-20.

I just got back from there too.
I went to a few vendors and noticed a few things. The vendors were buying Baleful Strix for $17, which is higher than many people here on MTGS were recently (last few weeks) selling it for. I picked up my last 2 by trading in $50 worth of junk.

Yeah. I saw strix at $24-25 all day.
Edit:
A few other prices stood out to me during the day:

Paper is catching up to Online Legacy ;).
Mono-Red (Dragon/Werewolf/etc.) Stompy is tearing up online also (similar to painter) - both run City of Traitors. Won't be surprised to see more Blood Moon/Magus of the Moon decks doing well in paper in the immediate future.
It's an instant speed 5/5 trampler for 4. Wtf do you people want seriously? It has applications in populate/ above the curve beats decks, or in Bant control/ flash. I seriously think anyone mad at this card for any reason other than losing an attacker to instant speed wurm, should go home and make their own awesome card game and leave the rest of us alone.
Serra's Sanctum is already up to $24 out of speculation. It was $18 mid last month. This card could double/triple in price by the end of Theros. I've already bought my copies, but just letting you guys know.. if you wanted them for edh or whatever, get them now.
Still at 20 NM on SCG. Sanctum is a good pickup though right now I feeling we all might be talking about how cheap it used to be half a year from now or something and regretting not picking some copies up cheap because 20 dollars for a legacy card is fairly low end. Argothian enchantress is in a similar boat and I highly doubt argothian gets reprinted because it's flavor specific and is probably way too powerful to be reprinted into standard. Not to mention WotC doesn't print shroud creatures anymore due to hexproof.

How do people feel about FBB Lightning Bolts as far as investments go? Consensus prefers the old art, and the black border is a huge plus. I pick up most FBB Bolts at around $12 cash depending on the language. Does Modern (and possibly future standard) demand contribute to this being a good pickup?

I harvested all the NM serras sanctum at TCG. Hope it gives me money back!

I have no fate in serras sanctum. Enchantment decks have been around for a long time and i dont think theros will be good enough for it to rise. However all this speculating will have a impact, and maybe it wont come down again bcu of its age..
I have faith in it my friend. Afterall, it is real estate.

I'm a little weary of strix at the moment, I feel like it is something that Wotc could stick in Theros block and crash it's price. If it weren't for that I'd be all in on it.
A 40 dollar mythic rare would constitute a must have 4 of that goes in many decks.
Stats About Mythics
-Mythics are on average 40% rarer than pre-mythic rares
(old blocks about 200 rares, Mythic blocks 35+ mythics)
-They are printing more new cards a year not less
(about 665 now vs. 630 in most pre-mythic block)
-To drop the value of a rare by $1 a mythic must go up $2
-In a 3 year time span deck prices doubled. I am petitioning for the removal of mythic rarity. Sig this to join the cause.

old black border bolts are always good as are the MPR and Judge version.
best burn spell ever.

Back on topic, I agree that Enchantress just isn't that good right now and draws too much splash hate from all the Abrupt Decays and Disenchants floating around to fight Blade decks. For Enchantress to make a resurgence, we'd need to see cards a lot better than what we have seen thus far...

As an Esper or U/B player for 15+ years, I hope you're right, but I think Strix is much too powerful to see a reprint in a standard set. I could see it being in the Esper commander precon, but I don't see Wizards wanting a cantrip Doom Blade in standard.

I think Misdirection could see a small boost too. It's good against Abrupt Decay, Hymn to Tourach and the occasional Ancestrall Visions.
