I've dealt with strikezone a few times over the years .
Twice, it took over a month to receive payment for things I sold to them and I was treated very rudely when I asked about payment.
I've had at least 5 different orders canceled, for both the WoW TCG and Magic, 3 on spec targets, one "just because" and the other when I emailed them a week later after receiving no shipping notification.
I also had a buylist that they randomly refused 4 days after submitting, they emailed me to not ship it (luckily I hadn't)
The owner is pretty rude in emails and is VERY rude in person.

Very odd. While I've never tried to sell them cards before, I've never had an order cancelled from them before, no matter what it was for. Including cards that were in the process of going up, or anything else for that matter. Always got what I ordered in a timely manner and without issue.
Unfortunate to hear that you had such negative experiences. Hopefully I'll be able to continue to avoid such things myself into the future.
This is strange, or maybe I'm just lucky, but I've never had a problem with any of my orders with Strike Zone Online. I'm not sure if this makes a difference, but most of my orders were under $50.
Kind of random, but does anyone know if they have someone checking their cards for quality/fakes? I would like to purchase some higher-level legacy cards, and just want to know beforehand. Thanks!

Over a month ago, I submitted a Heroclix buy order. He decided not to buy four of the figures. I've been emailing, trying to find out where these figures are and why they haven't been sent back yet. His emails are very unprofessional.
This is the worst vendor I have dealt with out of all of the ones listed on mtgprice.com who buy cards. I have had a terrible experience selling to them. If you make any slight mistake listing your cards, they will be sent back to you at your expense ($4 automatically deducted from your total without any accompanying explanation given). For me this included a set of 3 cards I accidentally listed as foil instead of normal due to a misclick; even though the non-foil cards were also on their buylist they did not make any adjustment or inform me of the issue, they just sent them back without providing any opportunity to resolve it. Every time this has happened to me in the past the vendor has just adjusted the order based on the difference in price. A number of cards I sent to them that were in excellent condition they presumably graded as below near mint (I say presumably because I received no explanation for why the cards were not accepted), and unlike most vendors who will still take the cards and offer you a lower price for them, they simply send them all back to you and charge you $4. The communication from Dustin is atrocious. While he responds promptly, he does not even take the time to write a complete sentence. You will receive a series of one line emails giving you the bare minimum information, and every step of the way you need to dig in order to know what is going on, as Dustin doesn't care enough to offer any explanation. You'll receive no explanation for why your cards were not accepted, just a list of which ones they took and which ones they didn't. There is really no reason to sell to this vendor given the very poor customer service and the number of surprises they throw at you, when there are many other vendors out there. Even if their buy prices are higher in some cases, you'll end up getting less money in the end once Dustin is done nickel and diming you with exorbitant shipping charges. If you are selling cards, I recommend choosing a vendor where you will be treated like a human being and get a fair compromise if you and the vendor are not initially on the same page.
Bought 3 cards from their ebay store (normal Mantis Rider, foil Numot and foil Worship), got charged 4.99 for shipping.
From their listing
"our shipping rates are at our exact costs with 0 profit after paying postage and all packing materials."
I am pretty sure it does not cost $5 (in USD) to ship 3 cards to Canada. Although besides leaving negative feedback I don't know what else I can do.
Out of curiosity I just checked their ebay listings and it does say within the ebay listings that they charge $2.49 for the first item (US or international) with free combined shipping (up to 40 items) within the US, and $1 per additional item outside the US.
If you are concerned about the cost of shipping you should make a point to ask the seller about the combined shipping rate before buying anything, though in this case it is spelled out within the listing itself. Before leaving negative feedback I would contact the seller and ask them why the international shipping charge is as high as it is. They will likely be able to explain better why they charge what they charge.
In general, my view of price + shipping when it comes to ebay listings, is you just need to take their combined shipping rates or just shipping rates in general into account when choosing who to buy the cards from, and assuming they follow the shipping rates in their listings, and you receive the cards without issue, I wouldn't leave a negative, I personally would just perhaps leave a lower DSR for the shipping cost if I felt they charged an amount that was clearly more than their actual costs to ship the cards.
As a secondary comment, I know a lot of sellers on ebay that wont even ship internationally at all (including Canada) due to the inability to be able to ship with tracking (which both ebay and paypal require for any sort of seller protection), and those sellers that do ship internationally will often charge more for shipping than normal to help counteract the cost of lost packages due to the inability to track the packages being mailed (or will simply choose a more expensive shipping method as the only ones they will allow to make sure they have the ability to fully track and even potentially insure the packages in question).
In the end though, as said before, your best bet is to contact the seller and ask them about the shipping costs, and see what they have to say.
I guess they really deserve a negative feedback .
This isn't my first time ordering with them though. Around 2010, I ordered a lot of foil c/u/r/mr from ROE set to complete my all foil ROE cube, and most if not all of the cards were truly in NM or better. I was ordering directly from their site instead of through Ebay, although I don't think that was the factor.
Purchased 4x sword of the meek from them. They cancelled my order after the spike claiming "out of stock." Do not purchase anything from this vendor as they cannot be trusted.

There's a dedicated thread for stores that cancel orders during a spike, might be worthwhile to add it there too:

Add me in to the list of people that got burned by this vendor-Received 4 Bomat Bazaar Barges instead of the 4 Bomat Couriers that I asked for. Hopefully I get a response soon. Since I paid by credit card, I'm eligible for a chargeback right?
Edit: Received replacement Bomat Couriers in the mail today-several hours after I decided "screw it" and bought an overpriced playset to complete my deck for tomorrow's Game Day. Talk about being unlucky. Well, at least the matter's resolved.
Had been a user of SZO many times in the past, but today they cancelled my order for a pair of $3 Protean Hulks, citing "out of stock". Convenient, as my $3 card was on its way up to $21 within two hours, after the EDH un-ban.

I guess I could, but I got the mail today and two of the more valuable cards aren't anywhere close to NM.
