So there's a Grand Prix Trial here in my town this coming Saturday. I really don't know what the meta is going to be like there, as the only local Modern I play is a group of about 15 people who frequently play at the shop where the GPT is being held. I assume that at least a few of these guys are going to be playing, but I don't know for sure. The local meta has been about 30% UWx control, 30% Red based aggro (burn, RDW, and red Affinity), 20% midrange (either Junk or Jund), and 20% variable.
I have 3 Modern decks: WBg Tokens, BUG Infect, and small Naya Zoo (Experiment One Zoo). I really don't know which one to bring to the tourney. If you were going into the same situation, which of these would you play and why?
PS: you can take a look at a few of my deck lists in my sig.

Naya Zoo, with a heavy sideboard focus on anti-combo. At that point your only bad matchups are fringe decks like modern Knights or 4cc gifts. Spellskites, nihil spellbomb, surgical extraction, ect. Only run finks in sideboard as the anti-aggro hate.
I would say take what ever you feel the most comfortable playing. All 3 decks have been doing alright, but WRU seems to be the deck to beat at the moment. Tokens is the weakest against WRU from what I have seen at PTQ's and playing the match up in testing. (the version of tokens my group built was the honor the pure/squadron hawk version) The E1 zoo deck is explosive and really needs to drop beats prior to the WRU deck hitting 3 mana. That requires aggressive mulligan strategies.
Personally, I would be taking infect or E1 zoo. But I am comfortable playing either of those decks. (tokens also, but I dont feel its in a good spot in the meta right now.)
As Tykimeister said, my list is in my sig. I'm not completely settled on it, as I feel like I need more creatures. I unfortunately don't own any Tarmogoyfs, which is a bummer. I feel like the spells, particularly the number of Rancors, may need tweaking - as does the sideboard.
Thanks for the input everyone, by the way.

Play whatever you're the most comfortable with. If you're equally comfortable, I'd take Exp1 Zoo. It's a pretty good deck, doesn't really require an overwhelming amount of skill (hey, even the best players get tired after a long day), and your bad matchups aren't terrible (especially with the proper board). There are no real cards/decks that single-handedly "wreck" the deck.
BUG Infect is pretty good if you're good at playing around the hate (know when to go all in, know when to hold up Vines/Blessing), but if you're not sure if you can play around the hate, don't bother. Expect the Skites, expect the removal.

Take Zoo.
As for Critique, i'd almost prefer 1 more Boros Charm to your 3rd Rancor. I'd hardly ever want multiple Rancors. I definitely want to see 2 Boros Charms per game.
As for the 'Why?'
Zoo has been placing really well. It's a fast deck. (lots of time between rounds to rehydrate) It's simpler to play than most combo/control/midrange decks, therefore your mental stamina won't suffer. I think with a good hand the deck has a decent MU against most of the field.

I ended up pulling the third Rancor, just like you mentioned. I agree - having two in hand was never any good.
As many have you have suggested, I'm gonna play Zoo. I think I'm most comfortable with the archetype (I've played Zoo style decks forever) and I agree - there are no match ups where it gets completely hosed. Thanks for the input all!

It's a good deck against random stuff and it has game against everything.
