Hello everyone, I ended up with a lot of blue card for some weird reasons and I am trying to build a mono blue deck, but as time passes and I either buy/trade new blue cards or read on the internet about fun combos to play, I end up to never be done and be ready to play.
So far, here is the deck I want to build: "I help everyone make the game fast at the beginning, make everyone draw and love me, then depending on the cards I get I either hit damange with the number of cards in my hand, I run out of cards in my libraries, or the others do".
Winning strategies:
- Self-mill/Make everyon draw: Laboratory Maniac/Jace, Wielder of Mysteries with all of my "drawing something" cards
- Hit damage as I draw: Viseling/Psychosis Crawler
- Since I don't have many creatures, I have some clone cards and some "return all creatures in hands" type of cards.
So here are some (110) cards I selected, but I am sure I will have to give up some and maybe welcome others. Since this is my first deck, can someone help me understand if I am really off? Do I have too many creatures? clone cards? counterspells? too little land? Are there some combos I am missing?

Hi random_kevin! Welcome to MTGSalvation! It looks like a great starting list for you. However, I think it's a little scattered at the moment. I would encourage you to think about what you want your deck to do and then build towards that specific goal. Do you want to mill your opponents? Do you want to mill/draw yourself out and win Laboratory Maniac? Once you've determined which direction you want to go, then you (and other MTGSal members) can suggest edits to your deck.
So, what aspect of your deck do you like the best?
Not necessarily, because they both kind of feed into each other. By helping your opponents and yourself draw cards, you'll kill them via Psychosis Crawler while also furthering your plan A. So, now that you've got a solid plan of what you want your deck to do, it's now time to critically look at your list. There are a huge number of cards that strike me as being really odd inclusions and are most likely due to the fact that you've kinda assembled your collection sporadically and without much streamlined thought. No worries! My first Commander deck ever was literally made from random cards I threw together, but I've come a long way since then heh.
First, I think that your land count is perfect. 35 lands with Kami drawing you extra cards per turn is a good way to ensure that you always hit your land drops, so I think this is fine.
I think the best thing I can do is offer an example list and point out some of the cards that I think would really help your deck execute its goal more effectively.
So, here's the list I would run. It's pretty powerful and, most importantly, something that you can assemble on a budget, since I imagine that you're operating under budget constraints. It will also use a substantial number of cards that you're already playing.
Since you're already playing Isochron Scepter, I think it makes sense to add in Dramatic Reversal so that you have a way to produce infinite mana once the game has gone long enough.
Tidespout Tyrant is generally an awesome creature, but also produces infinite colorless mana via Sol Ring + Everflowing Chalice or any two mana rocks who can produce more mana than their collective converted mana cost. The Tyrant also enables you to create infinite mana with Peregrine Drake + High Tide any spell with CMC under 3.
I assume you're already aware of the Mind Over Matter + Temple Bell combo, but it's important to note that you can substitute in Azami or Arcanis in the list that I have here as well, allowing you some redundancy.
I added in some $$$ cheap removal effects so that you can interact with problem permanents. Since you're enabling your opponents to see more cards from their deck, it's important to be able to keep things under some sort of control.
Otherwise, it's a pretty fun list that's much more concerned about drawing a ton of cards for everyone, which secretly digs you deeper into your deck so you can find the combo pieces you need to close out the game. Take my decklist with a grain of salt, as I don't know your playgroup, your playstyle, or any pet cards that you have. The list I posted is simply another source of ideas for you and your own deckbuilding, hopefully.
Good luck and keep commenting on your thread as people respond!
