Seems card of hard not to run black for Plague Stinger , that guy brings the pain. Considering Red brings you not a single creature it seems wrong to be the second color honestly. We can't be sure how good arc trail is in the meta yet either , which I assume is the main reason to running Red? Volt Charge is sweet too but not really needed I'd say.
I don't know the deck well but I know 4 Phyrexian Crusader is a must and Skithinrynx is the better 5 mana closer. Should probably be 4 Viridian Corrupter sideboard , definitely 4 within the list. Assuming this deck should run swords no doubt.
I'll take a crack at infect , let me know what you think of my list buddy.
Just a really quick and lazy making for the deck. The landbase is a little rough losing Catacombs and not having 8x Duals like a lot of decks, but the Inkmoth Nexus's are almost too good not to consider a must run.
Only thing I could say is you may want to consider running Overrun , which of course would mean you'd want to run more like 27-30 creatures at a curve of 1-4, possibly including Birds just for ramp.
Seems like a very affective deck though , you lose a lot of the pumps though so you need more removal to help get openings against aggro.
Infect only needs to zoom because the format is zooming. If it slows down, I'm sure higher CMC infect cards could get their chance, albeit a little one.
Not really no. The deck will get controlled and dismantled as time goes on and their opponents establish themselves. The deck really doesn't come back from when someone stabalizes.
Here's the trick....Infect , has to do 1/2 the damage every other deck does , so it needs to abuse that by being as aggressive as possible. The big infect cards will never have a place if we are talking competitive play.

Not at all. U/G Infect is arguably the best Infect archetype right now and could still be post-rotation. It loses a few nice pump spells in Vines of Vastwood and Groundswell but it should be quite feasible still. Blighted Agent is basically a better Plague Stinger 90% of the time anyways.

None of this is valid logic. Bolded part (added) in particular is Denying the Antecedent.

Jeez, no need to start a flame war, guys. However, I do agree, infect is generally served best by going as fast as possible, OR the opposite, playing a more controlling build. However, Red offers little to nothing to infect, and Kessig Wolf Run already requires quite a lot of mana input to work in infect. It's a nice idea conceptually, but practically, it's not going to hold up. Have I tested this? No, but having played a hyperaggressive W/G build and U/G build of infect, I can attest to the mechanic's power when used aggressively. You can argue that if the format slows down, you can work more slowly with infect, but the question is--why would you WANT to? If you can still go faster, there is little reason not to.
Hmm, I'm not really sure why people think this deck isn't "fast." In the mono-green version, which I run currently, a turn 3 Putrefax is normal, and the opponent takes 5 poison before they even know what's going on. Quite often I'll then use Noxious Revival on their turn, cast the Putrefax again with Apostle's Blessing to guarantee the swing, and the game is over turn 4. That's just one way of winning, but the mid-range does work.
Now I repspect the opinion that R isn't worth it just to run Kessig Wolf Run, and that's basically the question I was asking for this thread.
I wasn't necessarily saying that your version was SLOW, per se, but that other versions are just faster. The slots you're using on non-infect creatures cause them to be absolutely horrible topdecks. If you're going to try the midrange version, i'd offer that your only ramp should come in the form of plague myrs.
Phyrexian Crusader is rather amazing for the deck , so in the Infect Lord. I see black as the must run.
I've tried pretty much any Infect color combination you can think of and I've never been impressed with Hand of the Praetors. It's just way too fragile, doesn't have any evasion and so slow at 4 mana. The lord effect and poison shooting are cool but there's so much going against it I've never found it worth playing. Crusader is good but not something that pushes black Infect to the top.

I felt with all of the good pump spells leaving Praetors would become significantly better. Blue may be right , pretty sure green will always be the core color. I only played infect a little in block just shooting ideas.

It's possible it could be better post-rotation I don't know that it would become drastically better just from loss of some pump spells though. It depends what sort of pump spells Innistrad will have as well (so far only that +1/+1 counter card I think but probably more than that will be printed)
This is the deck I run with, though not FNM tested. It's quick, and can end a game in one turn given the right draws. Unfortunately, Groundswell rotating out doesn't leave me with much choice but Titanic Growth, as I'm usually working with three or four mana, so fixed mana costs are the most efficient.
As you're probably aware, the deck runs pump as its main damage source, requiring the opponent to block or risk taking huge hits. I considered Dismember, but I'm already spending life using Mutagenic Growth and Apostle's Blessing.
Against burn decks GUI is pretty bad, it's a race between his burn and your poison. Against creature decks it usually depends on who goes first and if you can grab Blighted Agent or Inkmoth early.
We gotta wait for the spoiler to get over with, but I'm definitively keeping my eye on infect
That said splashing red for Assault Strobe will only be good if there is another +4/+X spell available for a Glistener Elf to go off turn 2 for the win

I do, however, have this feeling that Primeval Titan fetching Kessig Wolf Run will be a play we'll see frequently over the course of the next year.
