After the three day time limit has passed, I will post a poll featuring the matchups and the decks. If a player does not post a deck or edits the deck after the time limit has passed, they are immediately disqualified. The poll lasts for two days and the people, the Salvation community will decide the winner. [NOTE: Yes, you can vote for yourself as well as vote in the other match-ups.] If the poll ends in a tie, there is no winner to that match and an immediate rematch will be scheduled. Only The American Nightmare will be prohibited from voting in the polls.
Decks are judged based on originality, creativity, how well they used the 'secret ingredient', and the overall strength of the deck. You may also consider which deck would win if the decks played a series of games. When your deck is finished, either post it on this thread or Private Message it to The American Nightmare. [NEW RULE: Only participants of Iron Chef Salvation and posters with at least 50 counted posts will be allowed to vote in the polls - TAN]
Since there are multiple polls, multiple votes will obviously be allowed. Please vote once in each battle which will be indicated by a capitalized letter and colored font. If you vote more than once in a battle, ALL YOUR VOTES IN THIS ROUND WILL BE IGNORED.
We had three battles this round...
Battle A - For the Title of Iron Chef Blue: loran16 v. AEthershunt v. Treesrule14
Pretty simple. Intuition is for searching for the servitors, or another artifact that you could use. I would discard the servitor to find another servitor, since they will just come back from the graveyard when you play another servitor.
Get out a Grinding Station, Dross Scorpion, and 4 Myr Servitor( Let's call them A,B,C, and D). During your upkeep, let A's ability trigger then B, then C, then D. While these abilities are on the stack, sac A to the Station. Because Servitor went to the grave, dross scorpion will trigger, untapping the station. Then sac B, then leave C. Next, let D resolve and repeat what you have already done. Just make sure you dont sac the Myr with the top trigger on the stack. I am pretty sure that it would be infinite combo. If not, you should still mill the crap out of 'em.
Sadly (or not sadly for Aethershunt), Aethershunt was the only player to submit a deck for this battle.
Therefore, I have no choice but to award him the victory and declare Aethershunt the new Iron Chef Blue.
The goal of the deck is to cast a lot of spells with the Thrumming Stone out, then flash them back. Every spell with flashback you cast will dig 8 cards deeper, so the chance of hitting one more in that is pretty big. As an added bonus, after the ripple, you can flash the new spell back as well!
Quote from Solarion »
This is a fairly conventional thrumming deck, with the very important exception of aven fogbringer.
Justifications: Thrumming stone: The signature card. Makes the whole deck run.
Crystal shard: The main engine. Get this and a stone out and you can ripple a creature every turn, until all four are out. Then start on a new creature. If the game goes on REALLY long, you can stack your deck with this.
Multani's Acolyte: Whether you're rippling or bouncing during upkeep with crystal shard, this can draw lots of cards. If you should fail to pay the echo, Witness can retrieve it.
Aven fogbringer: This is a soft lock with crystal shard, and the main win condition. And if in this lock you get out more with a certain vibrating monolith, well that's very nice indeed.
Birds of paradise: This deck needs a bit of mana to get going, and fixing can't hurt either.
Aether burst: Crazy with ripple. Ripple one, bounce three.
Peel from reality: Trigger a COP and bounce a threatening creature? Oh yeah.
Lands: The high amount of fetchlands gets you lots of deck thinning, so you get less lands when rippling. And you've got to have basics in case of wasteland.
Wing shards and chill are to slow aggro. Naturalize is to kill annoying things and the drake is for another lock.
Great job. Two interesting decks with two very different takes on the Stone.

Iron Chef Red BweeBwee versus HRoth-Gar
As always, its first come first serve, but that dosen't mean you can't get in line to challenge someone else.
One more thing, please only challenge one Iron Chef at a time. I assure everyone that their challenge will be answered even if it takes a few days. Thank you. The poll will end Thursday.

This may just be because the people on top are generally the iron chefs, and therefore better, but either way, it's not looking good for me.
