Inspired by the High Number Death Game, but the rules are completely different.
RULES
* Each round, players PM me with a number.
* You may only choose one of the following numbers for submission: 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, 15, 16, 17, 18, 19.
* Players may join at any time. If you want to join, simply participate in the next round. Players already in the game can sit out as many rounds as they wish.
* Players gain points equal to the number they submitted. However, if multiple people submit the same number, all players who submitted that number are awarded 0 points for the round.
* Five rounds will be played. After the 5th round, if multiple people have the same grand total, their grand totals become 0. Then the player with the highest grand total wins the game!

Yes, the numbers stay the same. If I allowed 1 through 9, if you picked a low number and it was a duplicate number, you aren't really penalized. I wanted the penalty to be meaningful.
Also, if the lowest number is picked twice (10 + 10 = 20), then it beats the highest number plus zero (19 + 0 = 19). The current number selection allows the option of playing it safe.
yeah that's the main reason for the increasing caps in hndg, beacuse if you are 20 or more points behind in this after a few rounds it is almost imposable to catch up

Round 5, 6, : pick 0-20, but only even numbers
Round 7 : pick 0-40, but only multiples of 4
eh, it's probably better suited to HNDG, but it's an idea.

I don't plan on increasing caps, but I do want a comeback mechanic of some sort, or perhaps a different method of playing the game.
One idea I have is that everyone submits five numbers in one PM. Then it gets displayed on the first post for everyone to see. The numbers will then be labeled A, B, C, D, E. Then the real rounds start. You submit your letter each round, with the letter tied to one of your numbers. Each letter can only be used once. That way, you reveal your entire hand and your opponents have time to react, or to try and to zero out scores via Duplicating numbers. I donno.
gah! Forgot the last round. This is why I can't win these games, lol.
