okay, so on the wotc website i saw mtg complete collection order now.
so i clicked on it and saw about 20 - 30 decks for sale for about 35 $
and as i have been considering buying deck building toolkit or a booster box maybe even going to the local game shop. i was a bit intrigued as those cost considerably more.
i'd also read other places that complete sets could be redeemed for real life cards for a fee of about $10.
so my question is. is this right? and if true do you think this would constitute a complete set and could i get it mailed to me (canada). also if it is true why would wizard do this because to buy all the physical decks would cost considerably more as far as i know.
also a thought a link might be useful but cant yet tooooo new
The way redemption works in MTGO is you collect an entire set with every card and then pay the fee ($25) and they'll ship the set to you. Depending on exactly how many cards of the set you actually use this is can be cheaper than just buying the cards you want directly from say ebay, but it's usually not by much if at all.
Thanks a bunch for the answer i just got back into magic after 6 years and have been drooling at the new stuff but getting the new cards sorted out is proving to be alot of work not to mention the pricing and where or what to buy
Be sure you understand, you can only redeem complete sets on Magic Online - not individual decks or any of the other limited products you can buy in the store. And there is a time limit for redeeming complete sets, it usually last until the set has been out of print for about a year or so (you can look up the specific redemption deadlines). You can't just buy a bunch of decks online and then turn them into real cards.

Ambush Krotiq makes me laugh so much. I keep rereading the card and it keeps not having Flash. In what sense is this an ambush again? I just have visions of this huge Krotiq poorly concealed in some bushes, feeling slightly sad that his carefully planned ambushes never seem to work.
