I really like your articles, mostly because they present deck ideas and synergies that are way outside the box. Several of your "regular" budget decks are solid, and are good starting points for someone who's willing to take the long view and build something more powerful over time.
I'd love to see some articles that highlight this aspect of competitive legacy. Start with a deck that's say $50 and fun to play, and then show how to upgrade it over time. Surely someone who's remotely interested in legacy can spare $20 a month, and probably has at least some trade stock. Show the upgrades after 3 months ($110), 6 months ($170), a year ($290), ect. Faster if they're actively trading... and trading options should accelerate over time as the deck gets better and they start to win packs/prizes here and there.
I think this is something that's lost on a lot of people when it comes to legacy... in some ways, it's the cheapest format (well, except for modern). I mean, in standard, you might blow $200-500 on a deck that's only viable for a year, but if you build smart in legacy it'll probably still work in a decade. In limited, you spend $15-30 for a deck that's good for ONE DAY!
Definitely has deck synergy and is funny to play for the lawlz of actually resolving a Rabid Wombat, but at 4 CMC I think the deck will already be off to the races by the time it would come out.

Rabid Wombat would work well if he had a cmc of 2, but 4 is a bit much for someone who does not have any base attack damage.
@ashley25746-
Others have asked me to do this. I've been looking into it. It would have to be a different series than Squandered Resources, but I think that I could do it sometime in the future.
As you can see, i've cut the Selkies because i dont see many islands in my meta, upped the count on stalker, stinkdrinker and froggtosser, and cut a couple of lands. Its proving to be wonderfull so far, but every once in a while it gets out of gas and its hard to recover. Also, it really depends on your starting hand, sometimes it just throws just 2 creatures and its hard to start.
Frogtosser doesn't seem to speed your deck up too much because you have such a low curve. Have you considered running any Cloak and Dagger which help Rogues out a lot? Also, Looter Il-Kor?

I have tried the rogues deck, and it was indeed fun! it scoops to burn, though, especially with sweeping burn. Still, worth the $30-$40 you spend for it.
It doesn't seem any worse off than any of the other Legacy decks that don't run any maindeck lifegain. What are the standard SB options against Burn? Leyline of Sanctity? Not familiar with boarding against Burn, but I'm sure the weakness could be shored up. I really love the U/B Rogues deck on the whole, though. A nice combo of synergies and aggro-based CA. Good colors for disruption to keep you alive vs. combo. Very nice all around.

The deck is indeed one of my favorites. As far as sideboarding for burn, I'm not really sure what blue and black have. Leyline of Sanctity is not nearly as crippling as people seem to think it is. Chill is certainly a viable option for rogues. Probably a couple other blue cards hating on red that I just can't think of at the moment.
I played the stock version of rogues and has some fun in modern, but I am currently building a mono black version on mtgo (since cards are much cheaper there.) Switching out duress and mana leak for inquisition of kozilek, and thoughtseize, adding aunties snitch and the final banneret. Also a mix of ghost quarter and tectonic edge with the now much cheaper urborg, tomb of yawgmoth. Probably since going mono switch smother with victim of the night. Sideboard will include extirpate, bile blight, relic of progenitus etc... I will post full deck list and results when I hammer out all the details.
Sun droplet is usually the answer to outpace burn in various formats, other than discarding any card that will give them 2 for 1, or countering. Burn is usually on the verge of running out of steam so by making them target your creatures and not you,coupled with some discard. Maybe even hymn to torauch or delirium scanes once you have some type of board control to stall them out.

I always wanted to find a home for Rabid Wombat.
