Yep I'm running for government against you leftist scum
Here is my news paper article:
Why vote for me?
Well, maybe because, so one day you don’t have to!
A vote for me is a vote for your freedom. I want people to be able to look after their own lives and own businesses with as little government interference as possible whilst still abiding by the law. That’s why when in government I will only be working on ways to set us free, like reducing taxes and other barriers to business.
I want to show that real liberty can bring us a prosperous economy. I want people to understand that if you want to keep your own liberty you need to allow liberties for other people.
I am a capitalist at heart and trying to give this democracy thing a go. I am quite anti-political and by a hypocrisy this lead me to the Liberal Democrats. After finishing my Masters in Architecture at Adelaide University in which I specialized in integrating gardening with buildings, I realized there were hardly any jobs available. So I’ve put my finger on too much tax, too much regulation and too many other government barriers holding business back in order to hire me or for me to open my own business.
Although not a devout Christian I do share common values with them, such as opposition to theft. And I believe that taxation is theft and that inflation is a hidden tax. I believe that Jesus’s message was to help your neighbour… not get the government to do it for you. These are just some values that we seem to be losing in today’s socialistic world.
The main reason I became a member of the Liberal Democrats was because I was concerned about another financial crisis. As an Austrian economist, I believe the Liberal Democrats plan for the long term economy was the best to get through this. Government stimulus is not working and only turns a recession into a depression, and the longer we wait the worse off we are going to be. Recessions are needed in order to re-allocate capital to where it is most productive and government stimulus does the opposite.
With record private and public debt levels and low interest rates encouraging this debt spending and no saving, Australia’s economy is not getting any better. This debt spending is causing inflation which is a hidden tax on everyone. One day we could eventually end up like Venezuela, where hamburgers now cost more than $100 USD!
The Liberal Democrats will cut spending and balance the budget. We need to limit government spending and a find ways to stabilise the currency, such as backing it with gold or Bitcoin. I also believe countries like Switzerland and Sweden have become prosperous by staying out of wars. These wars are only creating more terrorists and to combat this I would downsize foreign intervention. And this is the road to a prosperous economy.
I believe that the way to a stable environment is through self-sustainability. And to do this you must invest in your own ways to become sustainable. Becoming self-sustainable means in the long run that you will need less reliance on government and that is what I am about.
So for a prosperous economy which will help everyone, the Liberal Democrats and I believe that the way forward is through less tax, less government spending and more freedoms for you.
P.S. If you vote for me I am paying 34:1 atm on Sportsbet, I support your freedom to gamble! If not, I hope you can find a way to protect yourself through an economic crisis, if not just becoming self-sustainable and helping the environment in the long run.
What office are you even running for? And why would anyone want to vote for someone who has a fundamental distrust of government?
Would you stop the great barrier reef oil pipeline? That is basically my only Australian related issue.
