Depends on what you mean by 'personal philosophies'.
Various categories for me:
Philosophical skeptic
Agnostic atheist
Instrumentalist
Humanist
Socialist
The closest thing for a life motto for me would be something like "always seek to learn more, and never be afraid of admitting that you don't understand".
Hard to describe, but I often find myself on the Utilitarian side. Not always, so I can't call my view of things as such. I think I'm at an age where I'm still figuring things out.
I believe in the non aggression principal so i cannot be socialist. No theft, no fraud, no assault. Which makes me: an humanist-anarcho-capitalist-earthling.
I will respect or not respect the individual for what they have done, not what group they are from. I do not want a leader, or be a part of a democracy that votes for a leader. They go off an bomb innocents in wars that are lies. I think religion and nationalism is evil almost any groups of people are evil, feminism and socialism are getting close to religious behavior now days. I will be charitable with my money where I see fit, i do not want the socialist government giving it to drunk-crack tards that will never work for it, even grow some food for it.
I think on the political scale i am bottom right, where everyone should be then we will live in a utopia hahahah!!!! capitalism has brought the most out of poverty and the highest living standards, socialism everyone is equally *****, except for the elite rulling class, as can be seen now the split is getting larger, the more socialist/communist we become. Capitalism is not banker bail outs, that is communism! Monopolies supported by government is communism. People are confused, and they want you to be confused... cultural Marxism
If you're an adult: you can make your own decisions, do what you like so long as you don't cause harm to someone else. I took an elective on philosophy. I don't remember much. That's what happens when you write your papers the morning they're due. It was all circular talking. But that Aurelius guy was pretty chill.
What's your life "motto?"
What philosophies do you ascribe to?
