Sitting on the most inland point of Arkhangelsk the statue of the archangel has become Arkhangelsk's gathering point of The Guardians. Having been a mainly neglected timber and shipping village in the pre-dark era Arkhangelsk has been restored to its status as one of the northern hemisphere's most important locals. For unexplainable reasons the city is one of the few large cities in the world largely uneffected by The Dark. The theories are numerous but none considered accepable by the general public. Some believe the old religious status of the city protected it while others believe the enviroment was the reason.
For whatever reason it remianed almsot untouched and with most of Eastern Europe and all of rural Russia folking to the sancatory the population has increased almost five-fold in the post-dark era. While this has brought its own problems to the city the fact that Arkhangelsk contains all the technology of the past it has retained itself.
This has caused The Guardians to make Arkhangelsk its base-point with thr statue as its headquarters. The history of the statue is unknown and the question of its existence pre-dark a common topic of debate. However what is known is that it contains strange, unearthly properties that often make it a point of violence.
A large man walks up from behind Michael. With a confused look on his face the man taps Jackoson on the back and asks "Excuse me, sir, but what exactly do you think you are doing?"
"A job? I don't know about that. But the Guardians are looking for members." the man then looks around. "Myself, I am just down here for a day off. But from the looks of it the man over there is from the Guardians." the man says pointing to a fair and tall man dressed in gray standing around two others on the outshirks of the monument.
When they arrive the man begins speaking again. "I leave you now. When no one is near tap the foundation three times. Good luck and may I see you become a Guardian." and with that he walks away.

A mystery it truly is.
Jackoson walks up to the man, and asks "May join your cause?"
The statue foundation appears hollow as the wall moves up and gives way to an enclosed room with a stairway moving downward.
