"Yes I do. Don't take it personally but I much rather prefer to keep it." The man's breath smelled of vintage vodka. Not a good sign. This was going to be one of those days.

The war is for oil..its one of the ways to make this huge operation worthwhile. People care more about lower gas prices than iraqis anyway.

You're obviously an ignorant conservative. I blame your hill-billy Mom and Dad.
"You clearly don't know how to take a hint, my friend," Dmitri said in a foreboding tone. "Chekov, bring me my sack of gold."
"Truust me, my friend, you vaunt to make this transauction. Now, how does 250 gold sound for your worthless contraption?" The forcefullness of Dmitri's voice was at its peak, and he wanted that weapon--badly. His thumb had moved ever so slightly atop his cane.
The ball was in the man's court....
"Ok, Just forget it. I'll leave peacfully." He starts to walk away, when he lifts up his shirt sleave and looks at his number, then he goes back to the ladie and asks "Hey, does this number mean any thing to you?"
Sven laughed. "Sir, what makes you think that I would accept 250, if I say 200 is worthless?." Sven smiled as he noticed the man tightly grip his cane. "If I were you, I'd drive along now. You are in no condition to barter with me, especially in your condition." Sven was glad he was wearing gloves. If he keeps this up, I'll just sppok him a little...

"I can see you won't reason with Dmitri Tolstoi, therefore, Dmitri Tolstoi must not reason with you," he said. As he turned around to leave, Dmitri clicked his cane, releasing the blade from within, and spun around, plunging the dagger deep into the man's left arm. The man looked surprised, but showed no obvious signs of pain.
"Now you know whou you're dealing vith," Dmitri said to the man, sligtly uneasily. He expected a bit more than a sigh from his attack.
Sven looked mildly amused at the wound which was bleeding quite profusely. He'd have to get that stitched up. Suddenly, his right hand, which held cinqueda, came down hard on the cane, eaily breaking off the tip of the cane. He then withdrew the part still in his arm and threw it aside. Now Xiphos, in his left hand, slashed the tire Sven was standing next to. He held both swords now in front of Dmitri."Wanna try that again?". He stared crazy-eyed at his assailant. This was a lot of fun.

"Vell, it seems you have got the upper haund now," Dmitri said in the coolest voice he could muster.
"Perhaps we've started on zhe wrong foot," he said to the man.
"I am Dmitri Tolstoi, ownar and foundar of the Tolstoi Trading Company, and one of zhe richest men you've eever met," he said, assuming a more casual air. The man's weapons stayed poised threateningly at Dmitri's torso.
"I'd like to make you an offar. It's a rare occasion vhen a man staunds up to Dmitri Tolstoi," Dmitri began....
"No games", Sven interrupted, "Tell me what it is and de done with it." As if to emphasize his point, he now used his left arm to punch through one of the windows in the car. He slowly withdrew it. It was a bloody mess but it'd heal. He had remembered to wear gloves at least. "Well, what do you want?".

"I hauve a friend in the U.S. who could offar you a job. That is, if you need one. And by the looks of that ticket in your pocket, it seems that you're off to Vegas anyway," Dmitri said, still unshaken by the man's threats. He was quite used to such antics, having experienced them on several of his trades with unsatified dealers.
"My only condeetion is that you stop damaging my beautiful car...vell, once beautiful, at least," Dmitri added. "So, vhat do you tink."
"Very well", Sven began, "how shall I find him?". He relaxed a bit and lowered his weapons. He did need the money. Already he had taken out a long piece of cloth (another scarf) and was tying it around his arm. He hated hospitals. He looked back on Dmitri...

The sun is beginning to get bright and the city is in full hustle. Unsurprisingly, even in the new world, the classes have divided and many have been left homeless, for various reasons. As Ed walks he suddenly stumbles over one such person and begins tumbling toward the ground.

A kindly looking woman, obviously an employee of the Depot, walks up to Darius looking concerned. "Excuse me, are you alright? Do you need any help?"
He tries to stand up once again. But then he thinks of something.
Sand poures through a little opening in his backpack, and wraps around his legs and back. Supporting his weak body.
"Ok, this will do for now."
He walks to a helpdesk.
"Excuse me, but where can I find a shop?"
"My only condeetion is that you stop damaging my beautiful car...vell, once beautiful, at least," Dmitri added. "So, vhat do you tink."
